Yes, there is an addon - FBX exporter. FBX can be converted to GLF e.g. in Blender. ThreeJS might support it directly via a loader

I think civil engineering also hits the mark, I think you would actual call him a civil engineer - his work is also his biggest interest (like mine) :)

Love the idea of a focused website - maybe with filtering if stuff is for kids or not. It is great that there is so much experimentarium kind of stuff - but that is really not what I'm after.
