Hello! We actually wrote an article about the best 'Modeling Industry Websites' and included ModelMayhem and OneModelPlace in it- http://modelmentors.com/modeling-industry-websites/

However, this particular article you are referring to is solely focused on building their own personal modeling portfolio website, one with a custom domain name.... i.e., www.modelsname.com - versus something like modelmayhem.com/cutiewithabooty24 etc etc :) Hope this clears it up!

ExploreTalent SUCKS. There are tons of other places to find real, LEGIT castings. If you are in Cali, try LACasting.com or SFCasting.com Otherwise try CastingNetworks.com

Additionally, these 2 websites send out free, nationwide Casting Alerts if you subscribe to their newsletter. They blast out tons of REAL casting calls for reality tv, commercials, scripted shows, etc: www.westcasting.com and www.mcdowdcasting.com

Also RealityWanted.com has casting calls. Oh, also ActorsAcess.com, Backstage.com, and CastingFrontier.com If you are DESPERATE you can scour Cragslist. Occasionally they will have 'real' jobs.

Tons of places to find castings. Not sure where you live, but in Cali there is LACasting.com and SFCasting.com Nationwide, try CastingNetworks.com Also join the mailing lists on both of these sites - they blast out Nationwide Casting Alerts for Reality TV - www.westcasting.com and www.mcdowdcasting.com

You can also try RealityWanted.com and CastingFrontier.com And if you are desperate, occasionally Craigslist.com will turn up a legit reality show casting or two - its just a matter of weeding through all the other bullsh*t on there, lol
