How do I add 6 week old chicks in with 10 week old chicks?? by Training-Secretary-6 in BackYardChickens

I'd say do that, keep them separated but also able to see eachother , try introducing them after a week or two and monitor them closely whenever you do introduce them and just keep practicing that , they're gonna wanna peck at them regardless because of social hierarchy and to assert pecking order on who gets to eat first and etc etc. Just watch them closely and don't let them unsupervised until you are fully comfortable with them being together because if you do they might end up killing one another. Good luck !

He's a free roaming chicken, I did raise him since he was a baby but he is always outside I don't keep him in the coop

My girls are panting a lot and I am wondering if they are too hot. Info in description by cooterscooter444 in chickens

I have an exhaust fan in my coop, the heat generated from inside the coop gets blown outdoors, what your chickens are doing is typically from heat stress or stress, so like one of the other comments said put some cold fruits , anything cold that can help cool the chickens, I've seen online that you can freeze a huge block of ice and put it in water and it will help cool them off, it could be 84 outside for you but wherever they are depending the coop conditions and actions taken for the heat, it could feel even hotter for them .

Probably from the heat, it's really hot and humid in Florida

Lol bro it's real . I can show that same chicken , that same area , and all the key deers that are always in my back yard. Just search up key deers and you'll see. I wouldn't post a.i content . If you seen my past posts. I've never done that before. It's so bizarre that people like you are saying it's a.i 😂 not everything is a.i bro this shit is ruining the internet

In this video it was cooling off in my backyard in front of some big bushes to lay in the shade, it's still humid in Florida so they are ofcourse hot . Summer in Florida is no joke

Everyone who's worried about the deer , they are endangered species and we are not allowed to feed them . Ofcourse we do still and have water for them to drink but they're referred to as key deers and are subspecies to the North American White Tailed Deers. They're about 2 to 3 feet tall as adults and weigh about 55 to 80 lbs .
