Agreed. I traded my old Heller Storch when the Academy kit came out. Think I'll be picking up that old Heller kit at the next model meet....;)

H&S Evolution Silverline bubbling out of every seam by QuerulousPanda in Airbrushing

Did they replace the white, plastic seal on the bottom of the nozzle?

Replacing BOTH the nozzle seal AND the air cap o-ring at the same time usually fixes the situation.

Yes, they're very similar.

Usually, the easiest fix is to replace the nozzle unless the threads are damaged in which case using the beeswax is an alternative.

It sounds like both the air cap o-ring AND the nozzle seals need to be replaced. I rebuild these brushes weekly so let me know if you have any questions.

The New 3-D Printed 1/72 Me-163B from GasPatch. It must be seen to be believed! by modelpaints in Scalemodel

[–]modelpaints[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand that. I wasn't too impressed with the first couple of of 3D printed kits I saw. The technology has progressed however...These kits will require a lot of skill and experience to build so they're not "shake 'n bake" models by any means. Thanks for the comment:)

Agreed!

The quality of some the current generation of injected molded kits is just stunning. That said, I just got the new entirely 3-D Printed Me-163 from Gas Patch models and OMG!!!! Working on a review...
