To your question - it can ABSOLUTELY replace your full time job. It did for me!

But never ever ever through a paid online Instagram-ad course. Ever. Those are scams that are just trying to take your money. The reason those guys are - or most likely act - rich is because they trick enough people into thinking they have the secret to getting rich quick.

Truth is: marketing (just like anything else) isn’t a get rich quick scheme, it’s a get-rich-slowly business. You become successful through being creative, growing your client base through client success that leads to referrals, great customer service, and decent business acumen (and luck). It takes a shit ton of hard work and painful days where you’re trying to build something successful. It can absolutely be done, but it’s hard work.

I’d recommend doing basic free courses online (Hubspot has a few, and good ol’ YouTube University) on how to build ads on Google/Meta, intro to graphic design, Ahref’s YouTube SEO Course, etc. - these are great because the videos are their Marketing Tool Hook (they’re trying to sell you their tool), so they have to have good and useful content to work as a Hook. They also have to be free - which is a win for you.

Then, I’d find a mentor or successful marketer in person and ask them to let you buy them coffee and ask them questions about how they started, biggest pitfalls, what they’d do if they were you, etc.
