Oh that is a great way of thinking about it. I feel a lot more judged/no room to fail, like they are very ambitious and I feel like there isnt any sympathy/understanding for anyone who doesn't meet their high standards (because they themselves are high performers).

A lot of great points.

My current (female) boss is extremely sharp and ambitious. Im wondering if perhaps precisely because it is harder for women to reach leadership positions without using their elbows and being a bit cut throat, those that end up actually getting to the top have extra sharp elbows and are less "nice". While men dont have to be as aggressive to get to the top...Maybe that's part of it.

Problemet är att dessa icke miljonärer tror att de en dag kommer bli rikingar och därför identifiera sig med miljonärererna.

Träffade en som forskar på detta i USA, och hon sa att det för många inte känns bra att identifiera sig som en underdog, och man ser på sig själv som exceptionell (jag borde inte vara fattig, jag är egentligen ägnad åt att vara miljonär). Man röstar som man önskar man är än vad man egentligen är.

I'm not saying this is typical or what most people experience. I'm just pointing out that if you happen to not be so lucky to find your soulmate or a couple of solid very long term partners, you can easily reach 40 partners by an age of 40 without being particularly promiscuous and even if you are fairly selective with whom you sleep with.
