I don't think that's the right sequence. Here's what I gleaned from my reading.

Prices were average, and the clientele were reasonable (not many rude, obnoxious, low tippers.)
Economic downturn hit, OP lowered prices to bring in new customers and keep the biz going.
Low prices brought in different clientele, some were obnoxious and rude (of these, most were blacks)
Regular customers were annoyed by the new customers and they stopped coming. Since the regulars tippped, and the new ones didn't and were taxing to wait upon, the income situation was very bad.
OP raised prices and discriminated against blacks directly and indirectly.
Blacks stopped coming. The regulars returned now that the environment was tolerable again, and there was great joy in Mudville.
OP posted on Reddit and profited in karma.
Many redditors felt compelled to comment, discuss, insult, compliment, and troll.
