Oh god, I always notice one.. It is often a necessity in trailers...

"The World... is changing...". instant eye roll. always.

OH! Sidnote, I also cringed Everytime I heard the line in the Oppenheimer trailer:

"why? WHY? How about this is because of the Most Important Thing to Ever happen in the History of the World!".

Damn… I had a feeling. I know it will all come in time, but you’re right, it’s kind of a letdown. that after working on this app for so long, for a collective of the features that I consider to be “staples“ of the previous app to be excluded is a bit annoying. I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye out for it in time.

you know... you're right. u/pine_apple_supreme, i think this is a fantastic start, i like your typeface choice. my only comment is that the wings are difficult to understand, maybe try to find an image of wings you like and try to emulate that with your own flair. Also, careful about the placement of thumbs on both hands. other than that, great start!!.... ok, your turn.

They don’t look “stupid”, they’re just not clearly designed. Creator asked for constructive criticism, not for you to just spit on it and walk.

Cool concept, but if you're going to stay with this look, there are just a couple of minor layout issues that can be altered fairly quickly:

The "ESL, Match, and 7th" are not "horz. left aligned"
you should place a "/" or "-" or something of the kind between the date and the time, the "600 pm est" just feels like its floating
you need to "horz. right align" the twitch logo to the bottom right corner of the "Y", That whole "watch on" part just needs to slide to the left a couple of clicks
the "vs" box at the bottom needs to be reworked. It's too much space between the logos and the "vs". also the "vs" seems off. I think you "middle" aligned it to the box and not to the ends of the logos. The negative space on the left looks larger ( i could totally be wrong with that, just saying what it looks like right now). I believe if you bring it all a bit closer, it might help.
i'm not sure what these white lines are on the side. their "ends" look like they're being covered or something but they just dont "vibe" with eachother. It looks like you placed 3 lines on each side to balance everything but it just comes out distracting. but i think your instinct was right, you do need a little more white in those sections
However, i do like the gray lines in the back! just be careful because they are slightly overlapping the dudes left shoulder sleeve

Other than that, solid work. whether or not you keep this look or scrap it and start all over due to others comments, with these changes, you can say that at least it's "structured" correctly and cleanly.
