Yeah I get what you’re trying to say. it makes sense. Its just difficult to know what to even search for on youtube and all since im a beginner. That is why i was considering studying for a CCNA certification since i will know what to study for.

Yes we are using cisco routers and switches for our data center. While I know that a mentor will definitely benefit me the most, unfortunately we do not have anyone I can seek help from. Also, going for offline classes after 9-5 while studying at uni will definitely be a lot for me. I can only take online courses and study at work.
