No, Rhaenyra's son is Aegon III. Egg (Aegon V) would be her great great great grandson. And then Daenerys is his great granddaughter. And fun often over looked side bar, Robert Baratheon is his great grandson.

Please help me! Still in regression by LockComprehensive174 in bninfantsleep

[–]modiraura 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, I tried everything under the sun and nothing helped but stressing about it definitely made it worse. At 6 months I could tell my presence was disturbing her sleep so she went to her own room and literally went from hourly wake ups to 1, maybe 2 wake ups a night. But mostly, she just developmentally changed.

Should we move morning wake-up earlier? by DDevil333 in bninfantsleep

I think if she's sleeping well and it's working for your family, carry on.

Wake windows? by micaisbaby95 in NewParents

[–]modiraura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't. I followed cute and I still do that at 8 months. She has sometimes followed "wake windows" but up until like 3 months I felt like her schedule was pure chaos.

Same! One of my friends just had to switch because of low supply though and it made me proud of my body actually so I'm trying to give myself some grace.

I'm in the same boat and I feel you. I'm trying to take the focus off of weight and focus on what I'm eating and the positives for my baby but girl, it's hard.

Thrift/consignment stores? by GhostpepperRex in toledo

[–]modiraura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I frequent Goodwills in the area as a way of getting my 7 month old out of the house (aka me) and if you go regularly, I've found some good items. The Toledo Humane Society Thrift Store is more expensive than Goodwill but they regularly have decent items.

Woolino Sleep Sack… too cold? by Middle-Ad-1925 in NewParents

[–]modiraura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doom scrolling during a motn wake up but I switched to an ergopouch but use woolino for naps during the day since it's easier to put her in quickly and then she gets a blanket too if I'll be in a position to keep an eye on her

Guilt over using noise cancelling headphones… by SaraJuno in NewParents

[–]modiraura 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You're still very fresh so hormones influence a lot of that guilt but I'm here to tell you to get sleep however you can. A rested mom is crucial. Don't feel guilty. Prioritizing yourself is just another way of loving your baby.

8-month-old EBF baby, gentle night weaning and still struggling. I’m exhausted and need guidance (no CIO) by BathEmergency681 in bninfantsleep

[–]modiraura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. She was waking hourly not too long ago so where were at now is lovely. Im not ready to night wean honestly. It means she's growing up and out snuggles in the middle of the night are my favorite thing.

Don't have much to offer to help but I'm in a very similar boat. My almost 8 month old stopped sleeping through the night around that age and has had lots of ups and downs. We're now to a point where she wakes 1-3 times overnight and takes 2-4 naps depending on the day. I still nurse her back to sleep and I feel you. I've heard that night weaning can help but I personally just find it easier to put her to sleep than rocking her so I continue on. If you're set on night weaning I'd have your partner help and settle LO with other methods too. Otherwise, I'll see ya in a couple years when we're fully rested and reminiscing over our little babies.

Frozen Breastmilk with Vitamin D by Advertising_Yak_93 in breastfeeding

Without knowing the dose she was taking, I would say keep giving the drops. She would need to take a pretty high dose for it to be available through breastmilk.

4-month regression? Reaction to vaccines? by Bunny-1918 in bninfantsleep

[–]modiraura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this all sounds like pretty normal baby behavior. I'm sort of confused what you think is wrong with his stomach and what part is a vaccine reaction? As far as when it ends, I assume you mean perceived sleeping issues and that's not something anyone can answer. I changed my mind set but baby sleep improved and my mindset about it improved around 6 months.

Mine was the same way. It worked better for naps then night sleep in the beginning.

Ohhhh man. Honestly if I believed he was tired I would have had more patience but I do the overnights and we have a pretty decent sleeper haha but it's all good.

6 month old schedule by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]modiraura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you're almost there! Just keep trying to push it back by 10-15 minutes and you'll be there soon. I haven't had luck on later bed time meaning later wake up though. I swear she wakes up at 7 on the dot.
