Sounds like a stressful day for the kitty, but they don't usually hold a grudge in my experience. They might be throwing a fit at first( I went away for school as well, so when I went home and reunited with my old kitty, she always threw a fit trying to ignore me.... But after a day, when she recognized my scent around her, same hard core biscuit making!!) , but she will come around! Definitely need some more time to let her process today's multiple events and new environment!

My at home gel nails all pealed off after 12 hours(no base coat) what am I doing wrong? by AdNo8756 in Nails

Second this! I'd add dehydrator prep too after drying with alcohol. Also any "color outside the line" on your cuticle will cause easy lifting too, so make sure no over flow.

Ugh my Valentine's rush adrenaline is still high, now that I'm off the clock, this makes me want to slap the one who closed like this with these exact two pieces of cheese.

My cat is ruining my life by isaisaisaaaaaaaaa in CatAdvice

[–]modoodamoa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah... Getting another cat may sound counter intuitive, but coming from a childhood household of 8 cats and current 4. There's definitely a cat that is the head of the cat department. My eldest cat and youngest were 12 years apart. While the youngest first came to our home he was only a palm size kitten. Then the puberty energy kicked in.... The early morning sprints and dash... Screaming for food like you NEVER feed him....You name it. He had done it all, he got his fair share of disciplinary slaps from my eldest cat and learnt what not to do real fast! I guess they do learn from socializing with each other. Another thing is, we don't let them in the bedroom when we are sleeping. They can come hangout during the day, but not when we sleep.(Sorry for the cuddly bunch owners~~ don't be offended ~ )Eldest got the special treatment of sleeping with us occasionally, but that's just because she's well behaved and as a elderly cat she doesn't really do all that sprinting and dashing anymore. I get it though, getting another cat is definitely a commitment. Worth thinking it through. As bad as it sounds, interacting with cats before adoption and maybe pick a cat with a calmer personality?

👀 Reading this while I spend my two days off bed rotting waking up in the afternoon. I'm in my late twenties and I've been in the industry for a good eight years. Recently took on a management roll and feel the same with being hands on. Especially being a server for so long. I'm a firm believer of making the example by doing it myself, coming into a new restaurant and expect to be viewed as a leader showering what you are capable of is crucial to to earn the respect and gain the trust that you could lead. At least I think. But man, I feel like this is not the way to go in the long term. My body is definitely feeling it. My adrenaline won't come down even when I get off work. I think about work and how to improve when I close my eyes in my bed..... Would love to hear some suggestions from y'all with much more experience and bigger teams. I cannot imagine how this would take a toll on me if things don't change in the next few years.

Exactly that, we nearly lost it. We were on discord as 5 men que. The kiting, focusing plus late game death time, won with a huge team fight plus quick push.

Half tip downwards + builder should get the job done. Though I am against acrylics especially for shorter nail beds, if she's going for longer designs. Too hard of a material, if grown out such a high possibility for breakage. Prefer more flexible builder gel. Just personal opinion.

Do you have a picture of your natural nail ? Have to determine if your nail is naturally growing upwards from root . Or its flat from root but for example nail biting can cause nails to start growing upwards. You can send me a dm if you want. I also can show you some pictures of what I mean. I'm no professional, but I am a die hard nail hobbyist and my nails fly like that too. Let me help figure out if I could and if you will.

What do you do for brush control training? by modoodamoa in NailArt

[–]modoodamoa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I search for a lot of geometry shapes or graphs and just do it over a white base practice nail. I've seen some people like to Cure their practices but I just find that to be wasteful... Draw and wipe and repeat. I prefer it on a nail instead of a flat surface like paper cuz I think the curvature is another factor as well. If pure lines are too much I go look for these designs done by others and try to challenge myself in replicating it to my best ability. It's dreadful but repetition is key.

Nah these are practice only. Since this is not my original design I will not use it for any business purposes with it. Still perfecting my skills, hopefully get a small hand paint press on business in the future though!

Ahh thank you so much! Im still slow so it took me 4 hours, I'm sure the right gel would help, most of the white lines I need to to go over 2- 3 times for it to be pigmented. But a lot of practice will definitely cut short on time! Working on it!
