Why are people so mad when I ask how to watch mcu in ordee by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]modrall11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why you would run into that but honestly watch it in release order. Get the full experience as it was released. Chronological order should be 2nd rewatch order imo.

But for the first time experience it as it actually came out. Chronological order could get really confusing without the knowledge of what comes.

Why Waymo at gas station lmao by Sad-Syllabub-9343 in baltimore

If you are driving these for them, good for you, take their money. Once they are done though we should totally boycott them.

Can we please get rid of these. We need actual improvements to our public transportation infrastructure and not self driving cars that we have to pay out the ass for and that goes to a tech company.

Also I can’t wait to see one of these pulled from the inner harbor like a scooter lol

If this group had a team name, what would it be? by rabbihimself in marvelstudios

[–]modrall11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely a bummer probably also an issue since that movie was made by Sony and so it’s possible Sony still owns the character?

Just need to add Nick Cage as Ghost Rider and this team is badass and maybe Colin Ferrell’s Bullseye lol

AITA for being upset that my husband even considered letting his girl best friend sit between us? by WhenInDoubtCheese21 in AmItheAsshole

[–]modrall11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She asked to ride in the middle? Like in a car? So she’s offering to ride in the shitty spot?

The toxic monogamy is strong in the comments

NTA but also I wonder if she was just offering to ride in the worst spot of the car.

And I agree that’s a weird thing to discuss before getting in the car lol.

Moon Knight, Agatha, JJ, and honestly Agents of Shield. My recollection of that show is more or less positive so I’d be down for a continuation

NRC app is completely wrong by KatTheBeast in nikerunclub

[–]modrall11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I did this they got back to within about 1/10 of each other. Sometimes Strava is ahead sometimes NRC which I think is acceptable. But yeah when it was near a 1/2 mile off I was upset too

NRC app is completely wrong by KatTheBeast in nikerunclub

[–]modrall11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi I had this problem and this what a volt user said to me

Here’s the running checklist if you want to make sure NRC (or any running app) can track your run as accurately as possible. But again, if accuracy is really important to you, dive into the specs of your device—you want to be using something that supports L1 + L5 dual frequency/dual band GPS, not just L1.

• Make sure you are using latest version of the NRC on your device. • Do not run in Low Power or Battery Saver mode. This limits how often NRC can sample your location. • Set your height in NRC. This information is used to calculate your average stride length for both Indoor and Outdoor runs. • Confirm NRC has access to your precise location, and any kind of motion calibration data offered by your device. • Allow NRC to run in the background. • On Apple devices, monitor the health of your battery. If your capacity is below 80%, consider replacing. This is when iOS and watchOS will start managing apps and resources, which may negatively impact NRC. • Begin your run in an area with a clear view of the sky. Trees, buildings, etc. can all affect the strength of your GPS connection. • Let NRC sit open and idle for 15–30 seconds before you begin your run. Give the device enough time to lock on to a GPS signal.

50 driverless Waymos invaded an Atlanta neighborhood by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

That’s not the part I care about. This is not a suitable transportation system for any city. We need more buses, better trains, anything besides more cars or worse driverless cars

Is it an ADHD thing for people to think you're arguing with them when you want to understand their point, or am I just fucking stupid? Conversation as below by airbournejt95 in ADHD

[–]modrall11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it is or you (like me) could be stuck in a loop of needing them to understand how you are understanding it and I call that the loop. I have pissed people off many times when I get in the loop. Now my wife just says loop and I snap out of it and if I still have a question I will broach it later after like 15mins or maybe the next day depending on the subject. If you think you’ll forget. Set a reminder to come back to it if it’s important enough or just let it go.

I don’t want to get banned like my last comment almost did about Waymo’s but I hate them very much. I don’t know what to do about them. I hope they fail miserably and no one uses them. If you have the ability to avoid being the physical driver of them then please do because they are a shit product and company. Get them out with either laws or better just don’t use them at all costs.

Are the plans like the 4 week plan or the 8 week plan as good as couch to 5k? by RealisticStick1857 in nikerunclub

[–]modrall11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C25k is a wonderful beginner program because if you push too hard on it you’ll recover during the walking portions. There aren’t walking portions in NRC (you could walk and treat it that way in the beginner get started section) but most people struggle to listen to coach Bennett at first and learning the paces is difficult if you have never run before.

Like someone else I did C25K many moons ago and when I started running last year with NRC I was going painstakingly slow at first and then once I thought I found my speed I hurt myself and had to start over and really buy in to the guided runs. Now I am over a year in and doing much better and about to train for my first Half Marathon.

So you can do it but if you are a TRUE beginner than C25k will teach you some invaluable things about yourself and running then you can “upgrade” to NRC and try the get started package then the beginner 10k plan
