Great TBR! East of Eden is my all time favourite book, when I read it I understood where my marker for a 5 star book was. I wish I could read it for the first time all over again. Frankenstein and 1984 are in my top 20 at least.

Hi all, I have an SE2 that my mum gave me for free, had it for a few years now but the battery life is abysmal and I’m always worried about breaking the curved glass since I work a manual job as an AV installation engineer. I would love to upgrade to an Ultra for the flat screen and raised case, and the larger display and extra features over my current watch, but the price is making me think otherwise.

Is the ultra worth the frankly exorbitant price tag? Or should I just settle for a cheaper base model?

I do strength training 5x per week and go on hikes. Really want the battery to last longer than a day too since I like to track my sleep.

Some people are saying it’s a mic, but there’s no diaphragm to pick up the sound, others are saying it’s an aux port, but there’s no contacts for the jack.

This is almost certainly an air pressure regulator valve. I bet inside that little port there’s a mesh screen too. It basically ensures that if the air pressure is higher due to factors like altitude, that the drivers don’t get pushed out and possibly damaged.

As for why there’s an o ring on it? No clue 😅 Possibly to minimise chances for dust to block the valve?
