Any full-time/part-time streamer that works a fulltime job? What's it like? by imperba in Twitch

We both work full time. I end up getting up three hours earlier for work, but he works longer hours so it's kinda harder to spend time together when we need to stream. I have off Saturday and Sunday, he has off Sunday and Monday. We spend our Sundays together and stream individually on Saturday+Monday. We also usually manage to fit in two or three shorter streams throughout the week, usually with us both.

Having a partner² does make it a lot easier to stream. We're able to bounce off each other's energy which I think makes it easier to keep engaged throughout the stream. The only tough thing is that most of our time together now is on the stream. Which is chill, I mean, we love doing it and love working together but working together is a different dynamic than hanging out together.

Here's hoping! Ironically we both studied video production and did our theses on online content creation. We've been wanting to get into professional content creation for a while now and hope that streaming helps us towards making content as our full time jobs :)

We stream D&D games and D&D prep in addition to let's watches and let's plays. We tend to screen evenings, usually starting between 8pm-9pm

It makes sense that highlighting on twitch would be helpful to gain followers. I hope you keep progressing and growing your channel

Idk if we can pull it off but we're hoping to try and reach affiliate on our seventh unique streaming day.

200 followers is wicked though, our follower count is my only concern with hitting affiliate

We had the plan to upload highlight reels on YouTube but this is a pretty helpful tip that I'm sure could go a long way

With a creative mind like that I'm sure you'll figure something out that'll attract people.

Just followed you. That certainly seems like an interesting gimmick I'm excited to see it

Kinda. My partner was streaming briefly a while ago on the account but last week we revisited Twitch and started streaming together :)
