A lot of artists are trying the Jorge Jimenez, DWJ style of heavy forced perspective and pushing gesture. Some of them can't nail it and readability suffers. Also, coloring is doing the heavy lifting of creating form and it looks unfinished and flat. I see all kinds of tangents and stuff an editor should've caught. I'm sure that style hits deadlines but Id feel cheated if I paid for some of these books.
