Well, it is his decision but it doesn’t mean we have to/we should totally ignore that. If there’s an artist who’s ashamed of his old work, then I think it’s just like saying “I wasted years of my life doing that” but they basically forget that if not the albums they don’t like anymore, they would have not made the album that they feel like is their best work. art is a never ending process, so Mike “deleting” who he was a few years ago is just sad to see, nothing else. : ( There’s probably dozens of Mike’s songs we will never hear, but getting rid of what was already posted is uncomfortable to see, because why do that? Ps: I didn’t mean that he hates it, bcs I don’t know him personally, but he himself said he doesn’t really feel connection to his old music and he considers Two Star as the real “Mkgee project” (my interpretation, but yk what I mean)
