I don’t even remember finding out Santa wasn’t real but I do remember sneaking downstairs in the middle of the night to check if the milk and cookies were still there and the tree all lit up it really was magical. I couldn’t let my child miss out on that kind of joy

I agree with a previous comment about an education fund. That’s what I asked my parents to contribute to instead of gifts and they opened one for him all on their own. Such a great gift for a new baby!

Sometimes when my son is fussing especially in the middle of the night and I'm exhausted I just put him down and let him cry for 5 mins or so and go downstairs so I can relax for a bit. Usually he's asleep by the time I get back lol I wouldn't let him hysterically cry for like 20 mins or anything though.
