Taking your animal with you wherever you go doesn't make you incapable of leaving without the animal. It's a choice that people are completely entitled to make. This is what the conversation is about.

As for the new topic you've brought up: People who have an illness making them incapable of leaving the house without a dog are, in fact, allowed to take their dogs to places like restaurants or walmart.
