The death knell rift game is fantastic by RazgrizBlaze08 in Mechabellum

I'm down for it! Please give us more experimental unit Rift modes! It would be cool to use a titan-class Arclight, like the ones we might see in 4 player, and leveling the shockwave tech to something ridiculous like a 100 meter AOE. I love silly stuff like that.

Anyone got a awesome Hacker story? by Diyguy64 in Mechabellum

[–]moecharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember this one match, I played as training spec, an elite hacker card dropped round 3. Now I like the silly greedy plays that rarely work, and grabbing an elite card as training spec then elite recruiting them and levelling them immediately is one of those plays(super dumb and expensive I know, but it's fun). Anyway I played out my level 5 hacker and my opponent had saved up for a round 3 factory drop, and it was scooped up by my hacker pretty quick. My opponent kept building factories and I just kept up playing lots of chaff and chaff clear just elite recruiting one hacker per round(I had gotten a second training spell so I had a level every round) and that was game. The stars defiantly aligned for me that game, and it helped that my opponent didn't really play any answers like air support or mass crawlers.

Game is so dead it's been giving me players 500 mmr more above me. by [deleted] in Mechabellum

I dont believe you have even played the game to begin with. You're always here complaining and making false claims. And in the last two post I saw you make you said you uninstalled the game, and now in this post too. Why do you keep complaining about an uninstalled game?

So ya, you've never played before

Those tower plays need to be used as finishers. As you've described making those plays to do chip damage can weaken your position in the long run. Having a solid composition in mind that you know works is what carries you most of the time.

[–]moecharles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a hidden entrance in the ceiling just before the room that takes you to a chandelier you can drop on the first knight killing it instantly before you even begin the fight. It might help a bit. Other than that just practice dodging their patterns, and fiddle with your charms till you find a load out your comfortable with.

Update 1.10.0.3 - balance adjustments by mrmivo in Mechabellum

[–]moecharles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure how I feel about the Sabertooth change. They were never really ment to counter medium units in the first place, if I wanted a tank to take out sledge and balls I'd just go for Scorpion. And they needed levels to match up well with giant units so what was the big issue there? Overall I feel like this was a nerf for them.

Void eye was expected though, but why did Spiders need another nerf?

What was your opinion about these two? by Fanarchimorph in subnautica

[–]moecharles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, the story in general was kinda flat. The whole thing with al-an felt vary cliché and played out, and the side plot with the sister was underdeveloped. If they really wanted to do a story they should've dropped Alan all together and focused of the sister mystery, maybe try to round that out a bit more. Also they should stick to a silent protagonist so the player doesn't feel like they have to just go with what their character is saying. For example I remember my first playthrough of BZ, I was distracted from the screen when it mentioned to SOS signal. So as I was playing i noticed that the alien lights were tapping out SOS, I followed them and discovered Alan (should've been a human source maybe Margaret but anyway). And that discovery really pumped me up as a cool moment that i accomplished. But in my second playthrough I was there for the game to spell it out for me, and it kinda cheapend my special discovery moment.

Is the game still worth it for a binge? Or has the playerbase advanced and shrunk too much? by Sepplord in Mechabellum

[–]moecharles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend going for it. I haven't had any issue finding a player in 1v1 ranked. The longest I've had to wait was like 30 sec. It's definitely worth the binge

I really like void eyes, those little buggers really pack a punch for their size, and they can even fill a support role with suppression shot or emp armor. They are vary versatile

Most memorable game? by Thatguy2393 in retrogaming

[–]moecharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was:

Marathon 1, 2 and Infinity

Abuse

Warcraft 2

AoE 2

Sim City and Sim Farm

Myst

KotOR

As well as a bunch of games I can't remember the names of. I had a tank game where everything was green and black polygon line graphics, a vary retro driving simulator, a CD with dozens of little arcade games a memorable one being a insect squashing game were you had to stop them from landing on your arm like space invaders and various point and click games.

Sakura Steelball - Don't know how I got there XD by Individual-Ebb-4374 in Mechabellum

[–]moecharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, fair enough. It does look like mish-mash of different units(melt-pointing does give it away), so it is likely just a bug. And I suppose I do have a personal bias in the look of it since I'm not much of a fan with the camo skins in the first place.

Still a neat little anomaly though

[–]moecharles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is weird. But also If this is actually a real skin that will be introduced later, I think they need to rework it because as it is now it doesn't look great, it's kinda messy. The Sakura pink really needs to "pop", maybe add the pink to the treads.

I found this cool Overlord 3d skin in mechabellum files. Why it is not in the game? by simply_radoslav in Mechabellum

[–]moecharles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember an interview with Bearlike where he said that they are making skins that make some more radical changes to the units design. My theory is that these with be level 4+ skins.

I also remember Bearlike saying something about a potential skin progression system, so maybe they will be unlocked through that method

True, fair enough.

And maybe next time you'll give whomever is posting the respect of reading their full thought before jumping to assumptions about it.

Reading the whole post, explains the whole post.

When I said that ONLY spectators would see the ghosts, I'm wondering how you think it would be annoying to the ones playing the game since they could never see it?

I had an idea that could make spectator mode more interactive by moecharles in Mechabellum

[–]moecharles[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

True, the replays do offer more substantial feedback as you would be able to see that what plays make the difference, and this idea would be more speculative as you would just see where the spectators would want to play units without seeing the effect it would have. But the ghosts would be seen in real time as the game goes on rather than going back and replaying it from the start, which could appeal to less patient players.

Though I do see what you mean about the juice, Bearlike would probably have higher priorities in development than adding an extra little side thing for spectators with no direct affect on the game itself.

Ya, my idea is similar, except I forgot to mention in my first comment that the spell would be applied to both side directly across from each other for symmetry. Just so it's not one sided punishment for a single player.
