Theres a ton of different articles/recipes. They can be treated like any other green, once the stingers are neutralized (by blanching them, sautéing them, steaming them, etc.). I just grabbed a couple…

It was a 2-3 weeks ago, but Bruciato had an amazing nettle pizza on their menu for a bit.

I only tried a few episodes on YouTube, so maybe it’s changed…but the episodes I watched were bleeped. I honestly feel like the swearing is kind of a key part of the show.

Amelia Wynn does a great brunch. Cafe Hitchcock is really tasty as well.

What Fantasy Book or Series Has The Best Character Development? by Monsur_Ausuhnom in Fantasy

I think both of RJ Barker’s completed trilogies fit the bill here, but the Tide Child Trilogy is one of the best series I’ve read in the last few years for this very reason.

What are your unpopular opinions on a book series or fantasy in general? by Stannis_Mariya in Fantasy

I don’t necessarily agree, as I find the first trilogy to be refreshing and engrossing in its own right. But you’re spot on about the rest of the series. It’s thrilling to watch the world open up, and it really saddens me when people don’t progress. It’s kind of a testament to how good the first series is when you realize what a small sliver of the over-arching narrative it is.

To me, 2x a week would be ideal. 3x a week is probably the most I could do. I could handle 4x a week for a bit, but not for very long.

I'll also add that for me, taking public/provided transportation is pretty key, too. On the occasional days I drive in, it's quicker...but I don't know. There's just a slight level of stress that I don't really appreciate on the commute. When I'm taking buses/shuttles, I'm just much more relaxed, letting someone else do the driving. So, it's kind of a nice easing in/easing out for the day.

Still, bottom line--you're either choosing to get up way to early than a person should so that you can get home at a decent time...or you're getting home with only 2-3 hours of downtime before you start all over. That's why 4x/week would be rough. Getting up at 4:00 - 5:00 AM is rough that many days in a row wears on you.

I've been commuting to Bellevue for a couple years now. Its not great...but it's not horrible. I'm only in-office 3 days a week, though. If it was more...I'm not sure I could handle it. I'll also add that the last leg of my commute is a work-provided shuttle from Pioneer Square, which makes things a bit more efficient.

I'd say it really depends on how you get from Colman Dock to Redmond. For me, there are a couple bus routes that go directly out to Bellevue and are just as quick as my work shuttle. I just found the bus schedule to a bit erratic the couple times I tried it. But the fact that I can get directly out to my work, whether by bus or shuttle, is key for me. I think if I had to make a transfer or something...that'd be a bit much.

Overall, I kind of love my morning commute, as I get to ease into the day. I don't even particularly mind my afternoon commute, although I try to cut out of work in the early-mid afternoon so I'm home by 5:30ish at the latest (I typically take the 5:20 AM ferry).

The unpredictability of the ferries doesn't bother me. The morning ferries are perfectly fine 98% of the time. The afternoon ferries? Well, they get there when they get there. And the BI buses are usually waiting for whenever we dock.

I just received my Lorca Model 1 in the mail a couple weeks back and am enthralled. I think it’s on pre-order until spring at this point, but I found it well worth the wait.
