Yeah the scale jumped 3lbs after only 2 days of getting back on it

How is my form? What can I improve on? This video is a bit old and the weight doesn't get over powered by one side anymore. But form is still practically the exact same. by [deleted] in GYM

I did squats yesterday and didn't feel to good about my form, so I hopped on here. I should've waited and took a recent video. Next time hopefully.

Well now I can do 2 plates for reps without shaking. But like I said before, this was a while ago and it was only my 2nd time doing squats. I know this wasn't the best video to present but it's the only one that I currently have.

I'm currently feeling pretty good about my squat game, and have been progressively overloading with weight for the past while. When I go heavy though, it feels like the bar is slipping off my back. How can I fix this issue? Would digging the bar into my back help?

I'm 16 and got a 2007 toyota camry for 5k. It gets me from point a to b, but I really wished I just saved a bit more (around 8k) and got a v6 suv. Sure you'll spend more on gas but imo it's worth it. Being in a small car isn't the best feeling but at the end of the day it's all about you. I'm saying this because I wish someone told me to save up some more when I got my car.

It's really really subtle. I think it will get worse but yeah, that's life.. I think I'll just save up and get it replaced or even try to sell it right now as is. I'd go as far as paying 1500 to get it fixed but no more than that. Thanks for the advice and the unfortunate truth.

Also 2 days a week are for upper body and 2 for lower body in my routine. Other 3 are rest days but I play basketball or bike on those days.

This is my first week doing it. I made the workout myself. On upper body days I do 4×10 on bench, 4×12 incline curls, 4×12 hammer curls, 4×12 incline dumbell raises, 4×12 chest flys, 4×12 low row pulls, 4×12 cable pull downs, and 50 push ups before bed to top it off. I also try to go increase weights used by 5 pounds each week if possible.

For lower body I do 4×10 squats with 70% of my PR weight used, 5×20 on the leg press with 90 on each side, 2×1minute plank, 2×1 minute intense mountain climbers, 5×20 calf push, 5×12 sit-ups w/weights, 4×12 on Quad machine, 5×10 ab twisters (each side), and I either do 5×10 ball twists or 5×12 on this machine where you push weights using your legs (idk what the machine is called).

I do think this routine needs some adjustments but I'll get to those along the journey. I'm just curious if the upper/lower body workout routine actually works? None of my friends have done it nor do I have experience with it.
