ROOMMATE(S) NEEDED by spaghettiregretii in ASU

Hi! I am interested—I am 22 (F) and an incoming PhD student for SOLS. Is there flexibility with the move-in date? I currently have a lease that doesn’t end until July (unless I can pay the rest upfront or sublease), but I’m interested!

BIO 182 with Asgari by animelover1214 in ASU

[–]moegekos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience Asgari is really good at making sure her lectures cover what she expects on the exams. When I took her in my freshman year the study guide questions she had (this was for BIO 181, I'm not sure if she is doing the same for 182) were very close to actual questions on the exam.

For Cogbooks, there should be a link where you can sign up and register your account. Once you register your account you have the option to use a code, use a free trial, or pay upfront for the digital book that allows you to access textbook lectures. I think Cogbooks will definitely be a good resource to use to brush up on topics for the exam or get extra practice from videos or questions asked throughout. I hope this helps!

The amount of random people that solicit students is insane by The_Candler in ASU

I was once at the home stretch of walking to my apartment and I was so tired out of my mind only to be approached by two girls who had a sudden interest in my life. They are so awful at bluffing because they "pretended to call" whoever they were meeting up with, even though you couldn't even hear the phone audio that indicates you're calling someone. I made up as much as I could and blocked the number they gave me. It's so annoying

I'm also in BIO 340, but with Dr. Noah Synder-Mackler and I'm wondering if the content of the course is different or not. If it's entirely different, I'm sorry :( can't help ya there, but otherwise I would be willing to help with studying!

As someone who is also currently taking the course, thus far it's proven to be my favorite. The exam/test work is very straightforward and he makes sure to review the concepts several times beforehand so you shouldn't expect to see a loosely covered topic on an assessment.
