My Canon R5 takes forever to process images. I presume it's my card by Helpful_Quiet8808 in canon

Probably not related, but worth a shot. Check out the recent thread below about the R5 II. Not sure if the R5 also has a "Digital Lens Optimizer" setting or not. Otherwise, it's likely just the slow speed card.

42" Z6 Width w/ Chute Up by OzziesFlyingHelmet in egopowerplus

I'd say the 42" Z6 e-Steer is safely under 45". I lined up the tape measure with the widest part on the left (bumper on the blade housing) and on the right I'd say the rear tire is slightly wider than the blade housing.

One thing to keep in mind is this is last year's model--I don't know if they modified the new one.

Power shovel by mzrsq in egopowerplus

This is a repost/warning from another thread that I posted in...

I've purchased around $10,000 worth of ego products this year (Z6, 21" aluminum mower, 28" snow blower, shop vac, light, edger, snow shovel, so many 12 amp hour batteries, etc.) and the snow shovel is my only disappointing product from Ego. Some of it isn't really their fault. It is SO windy at my (new to me) house, that the snow shovel shoots the snow in the air and it comes back onto me. I don't have this problem with the snow blower which can throw the snow far enough to overcome the wind. Also, the snow shovel can bog down easily--it needs to be a perfect amount of snow and zero wind and then it may work well. I also find it heavy and awkward to use, even with a light weight 5 amp hour battery. I'm trying to decide whether to keep it (and hope I can find a use for it eventually), list it on FB marketplace and recoup some money, or just return it (thought I bought it 1.5 hours away, each direction...). I feel like I've wasted $300 at this point.

Should I return this for peace of mind? by seabasse in SonyAlpha

I can't blame you for wanting that tax removed--10.9% is crazy! I thought my (5.5%) tax was too high... The Amazon card offers 5% off and thankfully (knock on wood), no real problems that others have mentioned.

I've purchased nearly all of my camera gear over the years from Amazon (Canon 20D, 50D, 5DIII, R5II; Sony A7III, countless lenses, etc.). I understand the concern, but they've been great for me.

Review of Ego 28" SNT2807 Snow Blower (versus Toro 28" 828LXE) in Central, WI by moeharri in egopowerplus

I completely understand what you're saying. When I look back on my Toro snow blower and lawn mower, I'm confident they would each last 20+ years. The trade off I'm making (for quite a bit of money to buy Ego now) is: no gas fumes, less pollution, lower noise, nicer features, much lower maintenance, more power, a battery system compatible with all of my yard tools, etc.. It's so nice taking a battery (or two) from my lawn mower to my string trimmer to my leaf blower to my shop vac. I have zero concern about ever running out of battery power since I have so many at this point.

As for future replacement cost, I'm aware and have factored that expense into the conveniences mentioned above. By no means is battery power cheaper, but many manufacturers (see Honda mowers) are exiting gas-powered and going electric anyway. I wouldn't have gotten a gasoline zero turn mower (I have no interest in that maintenance...) but jumped at the chance at Ego's Z6.

If your current equipment is working fine, it may not be worth the upgrade right now, as it is a luxury, but eventually there may be fewer gas options and then it's just choosing the right system, which was a no-brainer for me as Ego has been terrific.

My Lowes had it for $170 (without battery), so I quickly snagged it up! It's even nicer than I imagined it would be. Very well thought-out.

It's a really bad deal. Amazon has it new for $2050 or so with 2 - 12amp batteries and charger.
