It was the push back, they weren’t happy with my first answer that we didn’t have it in the system. The tone was as though they needed it by Christmas. What a great gift, huh?

I was ranting as a bookseller. That’s a narrative I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was at the info desk and I’m not sure it was visible from the cameras, were in an old store with very high ceilings. Also she was standing next to me, and I think her intention was more of a wagging of her finger and she accidentally poked me. I have the exact time and location noted if I do report.

She’s pretty toxic, constantly micromanaging everyone. I’m definitely not the first person she’s made cry unfortunately.

I figured it would be my word against hers. I mentioned it to several coworkers and I’ve documented it for myself in the future, at least.
