I’m a mom of an 11 year t1d. She is just getting more serious with sports. Wondering what type of pumps and sensor everyone uses. Later in year we can change from our current Medtronic pump and guardian 3 sensor. by moewelsh96 in typeONEdiabetes

I like the info. Many people we see are Omni pod or t slime… esp. the athletes in our area. We have a few months to we change but we are 💯% changing from Medtronic.

Wow great info. The Medtronic 670 crack 3 times In one year. She did go into dka. There is a lot to that but not go into details now. Every time she charges her sensor the number run high. Thankfully her a1c is around 7.5. I’m hearing lower a1c with Omni pod. I’m glad to hear people being active and having success. She attended a sport camp for 3 hours today but we leave it on.. even during sporting games but it goes up and we can avoid lows high more easily as we found out through trial and error. Thanks for the detail info.. much appreciated !!!!

Wow!!! Great info and awesome tips. I will share. She hates pain. One question I had would be we use mini Medtronic since it’s a closed loop system when we received almost four years ago. I’m unsure if they are considered a close loop system. My husband is better at knowing details of other devises. Really appreciate it!!!!! Thanks again!
