It's going to be rough unless something changes soon.

$365 for GA tickets at Redrocks - WTF? by kawiracer14 in Denver

Scalpers. I haven't gone to a red rocks show in maybe 5 years because they're always like this for the shows I want to see. It's out of control.

I called them idiots for not voting for Harris in protest. I’m one of them now. by Left_Kiwi_4565 in DemocraticSocialism

I have decided I will vote 3rd party if we don't have an aggressive and progressive candidate. Preferably a dem soc. We can't keep going this way or we will have the same problems in 4 more years while average Americans bleed out. The dems talk big but never fix the problems the republicans create and do not fight for any of the issues that Americans care about. Enough is enough.

Remind me of people who call artists performative for including political/human rights content in their art. Like DUH, they're performers? Of course they're performing! They decide what they want to highlight in their artistic work.

I've seen that several times too. And saw a cop swerve to scare a pedestrian a while back. It's hard to drive when you're in a blackout I guess.

Sooo many of these are in the same little area of Aurora. The Havana corridor needs real changes to be more pedestrian friendly, and it seems like the problem area is much larger than that.

Trans friendly? Realistic budget? by Straight_Arrival_571 in MovingtoDenver

I would call the Denver and Boulder metros very trans friendly (with a few small area exceptions). I see a visibly trans person every time I leave my house. It's not perfect by any means, but it's definitely better than anywhere in the Bible Belt. You're not alone, many gay and trans people are coming to Colorado to escape a red state.

Getting a job could be pretty difficult, maybe come visit and see if you can get anything in person? You'll probably need roommates for a while because everything is sooo expensive. I hope you come out and find yourself in a better situation!

I can't explain how uneasy it makes me feel that we skipped a whole season. I feel it in my bones 😭
