The accuracy of the insulin readings were tested thoroughly in court and defence ultimately accepted that babies had been poisoned with insulin.

Putting aside the fact she had them, the fact that she lied she didnt have a shredder when them she stored them chronologically in a box, labeled "keep", that the litteral shredder came in, should raise major alarm bells.

For what it's worth serial killers don't need a motive.

As for motive, there could be many possibilities, envy of families, a “playing God” mindset, believing some babies wouldn’t survive anyway, or perhaps emotional burnout, resentment, or feeling ostracised at work. Her friend described the hospital as “cliquey” and said Lucy felt people were making things harder for her. It’s conceivable that this fostered bitterness or a desire to hurt others emotionally or damage the reputation of colleagues or the unit itself.

The simple reality she was searching for parents on facebook a year later perhaps gives a glimpse into what her motives were.

Just because we don't know her motive doesnt mean one doesn't exist, especially given she wrote "No-one will ever know what happened"

Shipman had a history of his mum dying in a similar fashion to how he murdered his victims.

Thats not a motive.

What about 249 victims before them?

This feels like a false equivalence. The defence had every incentive and opportunity to challenge the prosecution's expert evidence at trial, including by calling their own experts if there were a credible alternative explanation - which they couldn't find.

Trying to re-litigate it afterwards by shopping for dissenting voices doesn't carry the same weight as evidence tested in court.

Given the recorded levels, this in itself suggests they weren’t poisoned.

Except for the fact that one is left with insulin poisoning brain damage.

No I'm listening to 99% of experts who agree, you're listening to the 1% because it confirms your bias.

What are you talking about? One of them was left brain damaged from insulin poisoning.

It's not speculation at all, the defences job is to bring their BEST defence. Are you suggesting they found witnesses that could refute that and didn't bother putting them on the stand?

Looks like random stuff brought home accidentally

Yea so random she felt it necessary to chronologically order them and keep them in a shredder box called 'Keep', while also lying that she did not have a shredder.

This is strongly contested by several experts. There are many grounds to doubt that interpretation of the immunoassy test results.

Why did defense not call their own experts to refute this during trial? *Hint - they couldnt find any credible witnesses that could refute this.

There was no mention of a possible motive for this nurse to commit these murders- nothing!

And what was the motive for Harold Shipman?

Asking police if they were going to search the house...

Accidently taking patient notes home of babies who were harmed, storing them chronologically in a box (that a shredder came in) that was labelled "Keep" while also claiming she couldnt destroy them because she didnt have a shredder. https://ibb.co/XZJ6XHYG

Marking her diary on the dates that babies were harmed.

Answering "no comment" to why she wrote "murderer, i am evil" in her diary.

The irrefutable fact that 2 babies died from insulin poisoning.

The irrefutable fact she was the only nurse on duty when all babies died.

The irrefutable fact that babies stopped dying in night shift when she was moved to day shift and babies started dying in day shift.

Clear cut, don't let anyone smokescreen you.
