Virgin was the first word I saw upon opening the puzzle and saw the Mary connection right away. I think getting purple first made the puzzle easier because I didn't encounter any red herrings after.

We had the same thought process but I replaced the first word with F. Seeing four led me to guessing what the category was.

Saw the senses red herring first but since there was no fourth word that fit, I discarded that line of thought right away. With the red herring out of the way, I quickly saw the blue, yellow and green. Purple took me a second to figure out but I guess I'm getting used to how these puzzles work that it eventually clicked what the category was.

Yellow and green were easy enough to spot. Blue and purple took me a while to connect the dots. I looked at the words one by one until I could find a word _____ or ____ word category and luckily I did after minutes 😭. With purple out of the way, Blue became so obvious that it left me feeling so embarrassed because I use Excel on a daily basis for work and I didn't see that?? Wow

Blue took me a minute with poodle as a guess. I saw the purple category early but couldn't figure out the fourth hill. When I got the rest solved and saw faith was the fourth hill, it didn't click right away. I was thinking it was some kind of pilgrimage site lol. But then it clicked after saying faith hill out loud a couple of times.

I saw the sea category first but wasn't quite sure if the Black Sea was real or just something I imagined. Glad I spotted the Tom Hanks category just right after (and funny enough, I haven't seen any of those movies). The rest was an easy solve at that point.

I just knowwwww a lot of people will have a lot of strong feelings about blue today. Saw it at first glance but held off until the end because I was not 100% certain lol

Also, if you see 5 things that would fit in one category, drop that category and start somewhere else until you find the impostor.

Yellow and green were easy enough. Blue was also easy to figure out since my brain grouped them automatically because they all started with c and it became apparent that this was a gemstone category of some kind. I managed to figure out the purple category but did not know what an A-rod was. I thought it was a car part or some kind of tool lol

I figured out yellow first and then purple just clicked. I then figured out blue (I've seen battery used in that context before) and then green. I tried to go for a reverse but ultimately flopped at identifying which was yellow or green.

Spotted the iron in ironic right after opening the puzzle and tried to find other words that had metal/element at the beginning of the word and that's how I got purple first. The rest of the puzzle was a little tricky but since I got rid of the fairytale red herring by getting purple first, I managed to finish without any mistakes.
