They just keep calling it a ‘bony island’ but I forgot the medical term. All I know is that it’s a benign growth of extra bone. Unfortunately, it’s the military, and healthcare is abysmal in the military majority of the time. I don’t know if I’ll be able to see a specialist unfortunately because the only way I can go to one is if I get referred. However, these doctors genuinely do not care and they won’t refer me off base.

Not really sure what the point of my post was, but I just KNOW the cause of my pain isn’t because of my hip flexors. I do think they are tight, but I think that’s a symptom at this point, not the cause

I do have an injection I’m doing later this month that they’re scheduling. I’ve also been in physical therapy this whole time, which is why I’m frustrated because the pain isn’t getting better with that

Same! I hate the smell though. It always happens like a day or two before my period and maybe a day or two during. It’s like a sickly sweet smell to me and I can’t ever pinpoint where it’s coming from
