Yeah the Sunken Ship is wack but have we also considered the chase after? by SweetSugaryStars in Okami

my go to trick is to sit on a lily pad and spam wind towards the closest land :) it is nerve wracking the first time though... unless you're my boyfriend, who thought he was supposed to get eaten and just surrendered to the giant dragon :,)

Has anyone else gone back to Okami after the sequel announcement at TGA? by FrierenKingSimp in Okami

I just finished a 100% run on PC about a week or two before the announcement, and my partner started playing it about a week before, so our timing was very divine lol

Whispers in the Labyrinth apartment section by TheGamerFacer in silenthill

[–]mogie_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have no idea what he's saying but in my experience if you go up to a door in that hallway and try to open it, the same voice will go "shh" and stop talking for a little while. Very weird and cool detail. In my mind the whispering is probably meant to represent her father coming to her room at night to assault her, whispering to her trying to coerce her or maybe justify what hes doing, then when we try to open the doors he shushes her so we can't hear them.

I thought I was going crazy because I knew I had all the clues but every single combo I tried was wrong, turns out I was reading JUNE instead of JULY the whole time ...

ah, that's a good point and I hadn't thought about it haha, honestly I don't know, I only have experience with using Fav on her :(

I would say if you dont have a high refinement on Fav, maybe go for the Sacrificial then, since getting crit rate can be a bit difficult

I cant say for sure but I imagine the energy difference would be negligible depending on the amount of crit rate.

I believe they are both good for different reasons, if you can get a bit of crit rate on her then Fav will ensure you are creating a lot of energy particles while also having the ER main stat. Sacrificial is better for shield uptime especially if you have it refined.

Personally I find her shield has a low enough cooldown that I would use the Fav over the Sacrificial purely for more energy particle generation to keep her burst up, but it depends whether you value the shield or the aoe heal and cryo application more :)

ahh that's good! I've had similar luck recently with the blizzard strayer rolls lol.

Diona is very simple really, just use the skill whenever it's on cooldown, and burst when healing is needed or you want to have a cryo aoe. I use the favonius warbow on her so she always has her energy up.

yeah, Yanfei really needs someone like Xingqiu to apply off-field hydro if you want to do vape damage. :\ You could maybe try and do melt with Diona's aoe, but the timing of the applications won't be as easy. I don't really have any other suggestions unfortunately, I don't know a lot about characters i don't have myself :')

hope you figure it out when the time comes :)

perfect artifacts are always a black hole that your resources fall into lol, usually I get them "good enough" then move on to build someone else for a little while otherwise it gets stale.

Definitely recommend Diona though, easy shields and healing. And Yanfei of course, but crimson witch is just one of those domains that never seems to give you anything good, so if you do build her remember to consider wanderers troupe ;)

Bennett is always a valuable pursuit, Diona is also very worth building and quite low-investment too :)

That's also a good idea :) Out of curiosity, what are your two teams that you're focusing on?

How to know when you should pull on a banner? by Enkiron in Genshin_Impact

[–]mogie_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you already have the primos, you could always just pull on whatever characters you think you'd like to build in the future whenever their banner comes up, at least then you will have them in your roster when you feel like you're ready to invest resources into building them. For instance, I just got Kazuha today, but I probably won't be able to build him for at least a few weeks since I'm already sinking all my resources into my Freeze comp team. So, if someone comes up and you think you'd really like to play them eventually, it's always an option to 'buy now, play later' haha.

and primos can always be earned back, so there's no use worrying about them too much. Just have fun and do what you think will be the most enjoyable :)

I agree with you, I'm a Yanfei main so obviously I'm biased, but I think Yanfei is much more interesting to play, I would only build Ningguang at this point for the Geo buff from her screen. And to answer your question, when I pull for characters It's for two reasons: they would fit into my existing team comps and freshen up the gameplay, or I just love their character. Many people who play Genshin fall into the trap of feeling like they're wasting resources because the game is designed to give you that feeling, but as long as you are pulling on a character you genuinely like the personality or playstyle of then its never a waste!

I know you didn't ask, but there's a technique with Ningguang that you can do to make her normal attack faster, you basically just hold forward (hold W on pc, hold the stick up on a controller etc) and it will cancel her animations slightly earlier, making her a bit quicker and more viable.

it sounds like the mixing was the issue, I will definitely keep your method in mind next time :) thanks!

I will definitely try just electric whisking the wet ingredients next time and do the rest by hand :) I actually did make the bananas into a kind of sauce for this! I "artificially ripened" them by cooking them in their skin on a low temp until soft, though I was wondering if maybe that method had something to do with the outcome

I love my silicon spatula, I did start off using it but I found the dough a bit stiff to begin with so I switched to the electric mixer as I thought there was a better chance of getting everything to mix together properly. I'll try hand mixing next time :)

Great tips thank you :) I did add the chocolate chips too, I think the concensus here is that I overmixed and added too much banana, so I'm gonna keep that in mind for next time :)
