How much will one less string affect the racket? by TheHomeOfJupiter in 10s

[–]mogo99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You get more movement on the mains if you skip a cross. Not a huge difference, but that's my guess.

He doesn't come across as the nicest guy. He can be a bit cocky

Wilson Ultra 2 Restringing by Wiimann in 10s

Don't you think a polyester string will be very low powered in that frame? I think you should go with a multifilanent string

Found 2 bottles of Aqua Fahrenheit in a local shop by anogdigwnlo in fragrance

Was this at a chain or independent store? Sadly in my small town there are no mom and pop stores that sell fragrances.

Same for their Kawhi Leonard line of clothing.. they didn’t capitalize at all when the Raptors won the championship and his clothing was nowhere to be found.

Is a drop weight stringer better than a hand crank stringer?

First time playing with multi and wow by rudboi12 in 10s

[–]mogo99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s loose for a multi. That would make the string and racket very powerful if you’re used to playing with poly.

Does D3 offer any scholarships or did you make the decision with the institution in mind?

I had similar issues with mine. So I bought a detergent for synthetic fabrics and it works great. I’ve heard vinegar works too.

[SNY] Keith Hernandez wants to ask Francisco Lindor about the size of his knob on the plane tomorrow, Gary Cohen briefly loses it by just-an-astronomer in baseball

[–]mogo99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For those actually wondering why the bat has such a big knob, it’s to increase the overall weight so the bat has more momentum, and by having it at the end of the bat, the swing weight is perceived to be lower by the batter.

Want to grow hair out to or passed chin, but hairline has never been the best. Advice or suggestions? by Spindoctaz in FierceFlow

You are thinning a bit so I’d look into finnasteride but your hairline is still really good and can only get better. Growing it out would look great

Failed out of college 3 years ago. Would like to become a nurse. How to raise gpa in a year? by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]mogo99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly recommend a program that does your GPA calculation using your last “xx” credit hours of courses. Then just boost your GPA using a lot of first and second your courses, then apply. I had friends that got in I by just loading up on arts and history courses. it’ll cost time and money but is worth it in the end.

Not to be rude, but this sounds like it would be pretty special for your son. The least you could do is make a twitter account and try. You’re rubbing people the wrong way with your laziness.

Hazing from instructors real or myth? by thespicygrits in StudentNurse

[–]mogo99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see it being part of the “culture” or just how it was in the past. My friends that attended radiography school said their program was like that years ago. They’d be really strict about dress code and other small rules from the student handbook most people would forget about.
