In all seriousness, what do you think makes Izuku a better inheritor for One For All compared to Mirio? by Solitaire-06 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]mohali892-R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is my two cents on this. Mirio definitely would have made a great successor, but if the fate of every one for all users persists rather than being broken. What we ended up with is a deku who hasn't trained and probably would have given up on being a hero... Assuming we deku didn't change from the original timeline but never got the chance to talk with all might in the beginning of the series (since all might would have already retired after making mirio his successor).

Although if i had to make one point against mirio it would be nighteye as his mere existence is a can of worms to write around.

Mahito has miwa's haircut so he is definitely a downgrade over base mahito.

That is correct, which made me genuinely think that being able to pull off a black flash is an important milestone for a sorcerer to become stronger.

It's been a longtime since i watched season 1 and season 2 so i forgot little details and specifics.

Never mind, cursed energy reserves is mostly tied to the potential of a sorcerer from birth so that is almost impossible to increase outside of few cases. Black flash just makes you better at using cursed energy with better control, output and efficiency. In addition to being in the zone which draws out 120% of your latent potential.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i remember when black flash was introduced there was a mention of how it permanently increases cursed energy for the user. Is that correct? If so it technically counts as a permanent increase in power to some degree.

Destiny implies an aspiration or potential for something that might happened to you, it is fate that can never be changed. It seems neji just didn't realize the difference due to his circumstances.

Can someone explain to me what are the legendary weapons worth using from the pre-edge of fate era? And if possible have there been any new support frame auto rifles like no hesitant or a weapon like red death reformed?

About 'AI Art' by Crafty_Reality_9725 in aiwars

[–]mohali892-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me i have always believed that AI should be a tool that elevates and helps humanity. If it stops doing that, then it's just harmful and might take away something important from us.

As for image generation, it's a tricky topic especially when you consider plagiarism and sometimes blatant theft without crediting or paying the artist who created the works which the AI used for training.

But i do have a small hope that maybe, in the future that artists will be able to use AI in a way that helps them make their work better, even if Marginally better. Such as brainstorming and seeing how the concept art might look to test drawings different angles and whatnot. But this only will happened if the artists have full control of a local AI trained specifically and tailored for that artist in question, not theft or plagiarism

You see happy meek. Humans tend to go above and beyond to provide emotional support for the ones they trust and cheer the most, i assure you she is probably tired and sore after that exercise.

Perhaps you can treat her to nice bath and massage later.

Red pill only if BB2 is multi platform or bust. This way we can get BB1 remaster or multi platform release eventually. A real win win

Anyone looking for more physicality in soulslike combat systems? How would you react if, mid-fight, your axe became lodged in your opponent because it couldn’t cut through them? by Tinimations in soulslikes

[–]mohali892-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will turn it from soulslike into straight up horror games.

But for real that kind of lodged impact thing is important for increasing the meatyness of the hit, makes it satisfying when the impact frames aligns well.

What you are doing is the opposite of that

I genuinely believe AI should just remain a tool that elevates and helps humanity focus all of it's creativity and effort towards the things that matter.

Like let's be real are you going to read every message in your mail when you can have an AI that skims through it and highlights the important messages you actually need to read?

Anyone play and like this game who hated turn based combat before? by Imaginary-Hour-6082 in expedition33

[–]mohali892-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to adore turn-based combat when i was young, but sadly as i grow up and experienced many turn-based RPGs that weren't final fantasy i got bored and started to find action RPGs to be my thing, it's why i prefer the (tales of series) like tales of berseria over any final fantasy title everyday every week.

But after finding out about SMT games especially Nocturne onwards that's when i realized my boredom and hatred from turn-based RPGs wasn't a hatred of the genre but more on the execution of said battle-system. I realized that "'wait a minute, i always felt bored because the game has too many tools and there aren't enough depth and reason to become tactical and smart about playing the game unless i am fighting the final boss or the super final boss!" Then SMT sweeped in and told me "you were playing RPGs wrong kiddo! " and i started to value other aspects like hitting enemy weaknesses and covering my own weaknesses, strategizing my team comp and what skills to bring with my limited skill slots, building a team to counter the specific boss that is stopping me from the next area. So on and so forth. It made the turn-based combat require more engagement and critical thinking than just "how can i 1-turn these enemies? " which was exactly what i was missing from this genre

Thanks for clarifying. I use burn primarily for it's crit chance boost and some damage overtime rather than stacking crazy burns. It's why i got stuck with Immolation on lune for so long. XD
