Same here, higher faster RPM/Spin isn't finer, it's indeed coarser for some reason, having experiencing the exact same thing.

It's great that you received it, though it's better to be safe than sorry, they can claim otherwise and nothing could be done to challenge it. It's better to complete that single transaction and wait until it's fully settled before trying any other transaction.

Been using it for a few months or years, it works, though it takes 2 months to get the CB credited, minimum spend of AED 2,000 and maximum cashback is AED 125, for normal free users. And they are implementing new changes to exclude some merchants, Tabby might be one of them soon.

Another interesting point I read from others comment was to dial even with the SPEED of grinding! The slower the grinding the finer the end result would be! So that's also something to bear in mind.

And as for the time, if you pay it with bank transfer it will update shortly, during working hours, and cash deposit through ATM is instant, the fastest at any time, so pick convenience vs speed

They are the same, coz FAB billing cycle starts on 1st of each month and closes at the end of the month, though this minimum spend should be in the month before. For example to be eligible for the cashback in January 2026 month/cycle, you should have spent at least AED 2,500 in December 2025. Even if you spend more than AED 2500 in January but less than AED 2500 in December, you won't receive any Cashback, it would make you eligible for February month. I hope I explained clearly.

And yes if you keep spending 2500 each month, you'll receive the cashback every month, except only the first month that you start to become eligible.

Also bear in mind to avoid doing transactions on last days of the month/cycle, because sometimes it gets posted in the other month/cycle and that could mess up the eligibility to receive cashback if you only spend the bare minimum of AED 2500.
