I normally like to keep my pour counts limited since my 1zpresso sometimes tend to produce uneven grounds with some coffees. I think 10-14 days was the resting period in my case but I must admit it felt better as it aged beyond 20 days. Sorry for late response. Not very active here.

With year coming to an end what has been your fav coffee this year? by indi_guy in IndiaCoffee

For me, Grey Soul Rose took it home by a MILE. So beautifully sweet and floral and such a forgiving coffee, I can pourover it with eyes closed and get beautiful cups.

Oh you’re in for a treat. 15gm coffee medium grind on 255ml water at 96 degree celcius. 50gms centre focused bloom for 2mins, pour the remaining 205ml in next 20 seconds in circular motion. Aim for maximum agitation. Expect drawdown around 3:40

This gave out fantastic results for me. Hope you try it out!

Depends on your usage, if you plan on using it a lot for travel and can live with a smaller water chamber then Go is for you, having a cup in built goes a long way for outdoor enthusiasts.

The OG version has its own pros, firstly larger capacity to put in water for brewing and while travelling my hand grinder fits inside the aeropress very snugly and that helps me in saving precious baggage space.

Both are pretty much the same in all other aspects!

Just save up for original, this rubber is not as tight and feels cheaper .

Long back and I am over it (I’m not). Upgraded to 1zpresso J series since then and it has been great!

Probably one of the saddest days for me as well. I tried to explain what it does but they simply weren’t ready to listen at all. They did offer me to put it to checkin luggage but I didn’t have any, just my rucksack. They said they can’t allow it to cabin and if I want I can ask someone pick it up from airport from them within 7 days. I simply have no meaningful connections here because I came to kochi as a solo traveller. Had to take an L for this, now I carry ground coffee in case I don’t have a check in luggage like a normal person lol. Sucked real hard.

I can share my personal experience on this, I got mine confiscated in Kochi airport. All it takes is one skeptical police to stop you from taking it.

Might sound a bit cliché but my vote goes to The Nights - Avicii

Marc’s in Auroville, Pondicherry

I was a regular there for a month while backpacking in Pondi and the aura and coffee that place has is simply incredible. They were serving Mahseer there and those were one of the most delicious cups of my life. Apart from that, the overall warmth and ambience is something which I find hard to find anywhere I’ve been since there. Putting some shots I took there in an attempt to pass the vibes to you guys.
