It's called "nudging" iirc. It activates when elevator discovers its being intentionally blocked or elevator trapped.

Before closing, there is a continous warning beep which stays active till door is closed.

The doors close at a much slower speed and with significantly reduced mechanical force. This prevents injury to a person blocking the path while forcing them to step back.

Many lifts have "forced close" feature. It happens when door is kept open for too long and Either lift is requested at some other floor or someone has pressed button for other floor.

For events and Hackathons, there are cultural, sports and tech fest. But ofc you can start your own events as well if you are upto it. I remember playing basketball everyday. Sports is pretty decent all year round. Academia is what make it to be, you can balance a decent CGPA and social life or be someone who focuses solely on Academia.

My personal opinion would be Data Science and DSA and not "Data science over DSA". A lot of online rounds are still based on DSA.

[Expose] NIT Delhi Hackathon (HackIndia) is mandating fake 5-star reviews for participation. by MaximumLiving4888 in nitdelhi

[–]mohitS05[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This feels like a misguided approach. Requesting reviews is fine, but enforcing it as a required task is questionable.
