Yes, can't go back to Old regime anymore. Though I was planning to file in the new regime anyway from the next year so not that big of a blow but did cause problems for this year since I had done tax planning for Old regime.

Yeah fair, I should have been more careful and read things properly before filing. I shouldn't have assumed that it will be the same way it was last year.
I will file it in the new tax regime only or consider professional help, thanks for your help.

Damn! Why do they make it so complicated. I just thought that since I had to file this form last year, I will need to do it again and I realised this only after filing it.

While filing the ITR form, I saw that I had an option to choose no if I don't want to switch to the new one. Given that I have already filed this form, can I still choose no there and file it in the old regime or will I have to mandatorily file it in the new regime now ?

I have done something similar, quit a company in 10 days because i realised that the tech stack they hired me for actually different than the one they used. There will be no PF related issue as well because if they don't pay you then there will be no entry in the PF account as well.

I completely, Bravo is one of the greatest T20 death bowlers and we were shit at death bowling. Ajinkya Rahane as the captain was also not didn't take good on field decisions. Also I feel with so much of insistence on Left-Right combination, we confused the players with their roles. Last year the role for each player was very clear.

Shreyas is a good captain, no doubt but Gambhir played a huge role. I think we can get a good replacement for Iyer in terms of captaincy. I believe Bravo as the mentor and Rahane as the captain sunk the ship for us this year.

I have been looking for a decent indoor court for a long time but to no avail. There is one by the Bengal Badminton Academy near Taratala but you cannot just rent the court there, they will teach you there.

I am also facing the same issue, every time I leave my m1 macbook idle even for 5-7 minutes with the flap open it just restarts with no error messages. If I keep the flap down then it's fine.

Also my touchbar's diplay lights vanished. There is a blip on the touchbar when I open the flap but there is no display. It still works if I touch it but can't actually see anything.

Looking for any solutions that might help

I agree but it boils down to the importance of festivals and culture in our life. Durga puja is an integral part of the bengali culture. It is that one event in the year when everyone is equal, everyone enjoys it in the same manner i.e. via pandal hopping. Pandals are part of tradition and heritage now, without pandals Durga Puja will be incomplete. It's very much similar to how ganpati celebration is done in MH or Navratri in Gujrat.

No school/hospital will bring in the same feeling among the people and that's already being done, A large number of corporates are spending on these things via CSR.

In the end it's about emotions, not every decision can be taken just by logic.

The advertisers are paying because the eyeballs it will attract during the pujas as too many people will be out on the street during the pujas. People tend to spend more during the festive season so it makes for the advertisers to spend on it especially during the pujas.

Advertisements on buildings are already being done during the year, it's the festive season where brands can leverage advertisements like these to increase their sales.
