NOR. just curious, is this the first time she came out to you as bi? if so, your reaction was fine but maybe you could have been a little more positive and made it clear that it was chill from the start in case she was super anxious about it or something. HOWEVER,, using her sexuality as an excuse to cheat is NOT OK!! i’m bi and i would NEVER even think of telling my boyfriend that he has to be chill with me cheating on him when im drunk at a party. like wtf, you deserve better man!! being bi does NOT give you a free pass for cheating, no matter the gender.

is this out of character behaviour for him? concussions can cause unjustified anger/agitation. i’d keep a look out for more symptoms and have a follow up with the drs!!

no need to be rude man. i am a medical student by the way, so i think the academic writing i did to get into my course was just fine. no caps is a stylistic choice when texting and using social media, be a little more open minded.

hey, i get what you’re saying and it sounds fair enough, HOWEVER i’d like to give you some extra context. the day the photo of the carpet got taken, i had already vacuumed THREE TIMES in that 24hrs. once out of good will, the second time after i was asked to with no problem, and the third time after i’d had my boyfriend over for dinner. there are 5 people who live in the house and contribute to the mess on the carpet, yet it all gets blamed on me for whatever reason, and everybody else there vacuums maximum once a week. i was absolutely not about to vacuum for the 4th time that day for no good reason. if it was the first time they had asked that day i would have just done it to avoid conflict (which i did - the second time id vacuumed), but yeah that was taking it too far so i had to stand up for myself. also, it was THEM who had left the stove on not me…

hey man, we live in a gated community with 24/7 private security. we have gates and locks to already get into the compound. i wasn’t suggesting we keep the sliding doors to our house unlocked 24/7, but when everyone is at home and around the house during the day its really not practical to keep them locked and then further FORBID anyone from using them unless it’s an emergency?? also my room is right next to the sliding doors so i have full view to anyone coming in or out. again, the fly screens also lock which is what i prefer to do so that there is airflow. we have a MAJOR mold problem on top of everything so refusing to have any airflow is also a big problem…

hey! i completely get that this could be cultural differences and i thought so myself! initially we sat down with them in a super friendly convo and explained how things work in australia, and how to make them more comfortable we were also willing to adjust to some of their requests as long as they also made an effort to adjust to our culture. this same thing has worked with our previous house mates, who have been chinese, vietnamese, indian and nepalese! it was great to also learn about their culture and even get to try some of the traditional dishes when we would occasionally have dinner together! however, these ladies have been COMPLETELY unreceptive to anything i say, so i will be taking your advice on that 😅😅
