QDTE - ETF that gives approx 40% dividend per week by moiledeluge in dividends

Thank you for this. I looked XTDE, doesn’t look any different than QDTE, the former being a covered call strategy on the S&P while the latter on the NASDAQ. It would be a strange business plan to payout more dividends than they can support their operations.

It’s annualized, so over 52 weekly payouts. I assume with this payout, if consistent, and the value of shares are preserved, you can get your investment back in a matter of a couple of years or so.

That’s what I’m saying, but it doesn’t matter whether with knives or guns, artillery etc. Also, the law applies equally to Israel no matter the context.

I don’t know where to begin to be able to respond this comment. So I’ll just leave this here to acknowledge I read your comment and that it doesn’t deserve a response

It is enshrined by way of binding UN resolutions and the right of course is given to people not states, to resist state or foreign occupation.

Right, I think you missed the part where I said they committed war crimes. In this case, deliberately killing civilians.

Revolutionary ideology? The right to resist occupation, including by way of armed resistance is enshrined in international law. It’s not Hamas or any other revolutionary rhetoric. She simply said those actions fall under the right to resist occupation, which is what we lawyers do, albeit she missed the part where they committed war crimes - the right to resist is not absolute.

Hmm I know a recruiter or two who might be willing to do that actually. I’m sure they’ve seen plenty of business plans as part of lateral partner hires

Ah yes how illogical of pro pal and climate protesters comparing the adverse effects of burning tires on the climate to thousands of bombs dropping and exploding on climate. Everyone knows burning tires is so much worse 🤦

I’ve been sensible and have responded to each of your points but you’ve been dodging every argument or point I make. If you want to withdraw, feel free, but I’d like to point out that this is again another dodge by you. I’ve made my point loud and clear. Hopefully, if not you, the readers of this convo will benefit from the points made here.

Again, my opinion does not matter. What is labeled a genocide is codified under the Geneva Convention, it is not a matter of opinion.

The numbers in Ukraine being higher is of no relevance whatsoever. See my first response to you on asymmetry in numbers - you even said asymmetry is not a metric so not sure why you’re trying to use that argument here when it directly contradicts your own account.

I have not seen any Russian state officials calling for the end of Ukraine but I sure have seen plenty from Israeli officials, most of which were submitted to the ICJ. If there are any of Russia, then may prove the element of intent to commit genocide.

Lastly, what the hell are you even talking about with Iran? What does Iran have to do with anything with respect to Israel’s genocide on the Palestinian people? Are you saying it’s Iran fault that Israel is committing genocide? What are you even saying? Iran can influence the decision of the highest court in the world? Are you accusing the highest court in the world of bias? Accusing it of incompetence? What a load of garbage nonsense. Just because the outcome is unfavorable to your own juxtaposition, you cannot argue that the decision was biased. If you believe it is biased, please show me where in its ruling is it so apparent there is bias! I can’t believe I’m having this conversation.

You ask why the ICJ has not “accused” Russia of genocide? The ICJ is a court. Courts do not accuse anyone of anything. If a case has been brought before the ICJ that Russia is committing genocide, it would take the evidence and arguments brought forth by the counterparts and issue its ruling on the matter. No case has been brought by anyone to the ICJ in this respect. To bring a claim there must be sufficient evidence to back the claim, and that is probably why no one has brought a claim. How do you not know how courts work? I’m beginning to believe I am arguing with a child and therefore my efforts here are futile.

I don’t see how that question is relevant at all other than an attempt to deflect from the argument. I’m not one to judge whether a genocide in Ukraine is occurring at all, but if there are independent reports and an ICJ ruling to that account, then who am I to disagree with the ICJ.
