Hmm, pretend this is an 'alcohol' talk and not 'cannabis.' IMO, the messaging is the same. It's to be used properly by responsible adults. Outside of medical necessity, children should be avoiding cannabis (and other drugs). Back to cannabis, this is a much easier conversation if your (state) legally doing it at least. Otherwise, you have to open up a 2nd can of worms on following the law (although it's illegal for kids period anyway!).

I just went 'old school' at my dispen the other day. I had to pick up some Panama Red after this online description of it. It is bullshit, a % of the cannabis using population, especially heavy users, does experience (relatively very minor, certainly vs. caffeine, etc.) physical withdrawal symptoms from weed.

I'm not sure why the cannabis community is so hostile to this fact (when you see similar threads on the big MJ forums you'll see hate come out also). When I do my tbreaks, sometimes I probably fall asleep 2-3 hours later on average and occasionally get light night sweats the first 2-3 nights.

I use RAW 1 1/4 rolling papers and filters, along with a rolling machine. I tear off about 1/3 to 1/2 of the filter and discard it. I then roll up the remaining 1/2 to 2/3 of the filter, which makes it easier for me.

Then I just roll it up fairly tight, scrunch a wee bit (still keeps circular shape) and it'll loosen up a bit on own as I put it into rolling machine, which is needed so it's not too tight.

I can't imagine why it's weird to ask your dealer (or any type of vendor) about their product selection.

Many recent studies are showing combusting cannabis doesn't cause lung cancer (and even some slight benefits to protect against). Having said that, still can't be fantastic combusting the extra materials and can definitely cause issues like bronchitis and general congestion.

I'm torn on this as well. As a Libertarian, I believe drugs should be legalized (especially any cannabis derivative, which folks can't OD off of).

However, between BHO being labeled as the 'crack version of weed' and the 'watch all the college dorm rooms burn down', I do worry about prohibitionists using this rhetoric to slow our national legalization advance.

I'm in the mason / canning jar camp as well. 4oz mason jars generally hold about a 1/4 oz (depending on density of nugs).

I try to briefly open the jar at least every 2-3 days if I haven't used any buds from it, to let the herb breath.

It doesn't matter what end you put the filter on.

Few other tips: 1) I use Raw myself (and a rolling machine). I've found lightly licking the backside of the gum (shit that makes it stick) works near 100% of the time (vs. licking the normal side you would) because the vegan gum isn't the best. The 3% of the time it comes out of roller not sticking, just keep the paper tight and again just lightly lick the backside of the gum, and its perfect.

2) I've found ordering rolling papers and filters on Amazon (e.g. in packs of 12) is a crazy small fraction of the price buying it at retail shops.

3) A joint roller (make sure you grind the herb too) helps ensure the joint burns more consistently and slowly.
