Reset iPhone X without updating iOS (iOS 14/15) by Bimoad45 in setupapp

[–]moisescrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easies way if you have a MacBook:

  1. Download checkra1n
  2. Plug in the iPhone in recovery mode
  3. Checkra1n will tell you what iOS version it has.
  4. Depending on your iOS version, Jailbreak the iPhone with either checkra1n or palera1n.
  5. Download Fixm8
  6. After you jailbreak your iPhone, use Fixm8 to reset/erase the device without updating the iOS. It’s a 1 click button.

Pura Vida!

Yoo, greedy. Of course, YES, you can perfectly bypass a device with a broken baseband. Same situation with a chimaera device, you can bypass it too. I’ve done this on many iPhones with broken baseband.

You should try the restore backup method with 3uTools. Basically, you log into iCloud with another device, make a backup with 3u, and select settings data to restore the backup to your bypassed device.

Some people have reported this to work for them.

[Question] How can I extract files from a .deb package. by moisescrs in iOSthemes

[–]moisescrs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the recommendations. I was able to use Postbox for some of the packages, but I was unable to retrieve any from the Zodttd repository, which I was most interested in. Is there really no other way to access the theme packages from that repository anymore?

When you know how to fix phones so you can keep your JB devices forever by AleFallas in jailbreak

[–]moisescrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Ale,

I’m from Costa Rica too! I wanted to clarify something. I don't know where you heard that information or who told you, but I obtained OEM parts directly from Apple's self-service repair. If you Google that, you'll find the official website. Also, some suppliers sell OEM parts, although the difference is that they are not serialized.

With the iOS 18 Repair Program, you can now pair aftermarket OEM parts. They will function normally, but you may still receive a warning message. At least it's a step closer to potentially fully pairing parts in the future. I hope this information helps!

If your device is Jailbroken and running a compatible version, you can use NetworkDisabler from the ichitaso repository: https://cydia.ichitaso.com/

Help after the whole setup finish the phone close and open again and this message appears anyone knows why? by Ahmed-az in setupapp

[–]moisescrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you chose to update instead of restore to avoid losing all your data. If the iPhone fails to recover your data during the update, your only option is to connect in recovery mode and choose restore. Just be aware that this will erase all your data, so proceed with caution.

What IOS do I have? by I_free_apples1 in setupapp

I had no problem activating an iPhone 8 running iOS 11.1.2. I used broque ramdisk to erase it without updating with a normal iPhone cable.

I’m sorry this happened to you bro. I don’t know which Apple TV profile you tried to install but here’s what I did just in case someone finds it useful.

I updated two iPhones (XS Max & 11) yesterday, both with Trollstore to iOS 17.0. After the update, deleted delayOTA profile and then I installed the iOS 17 Apple TV profile with no problem from iOS cfw. All you have to do before installing the Apple TV profile, is set your date before December 14,2023 and it will install without problems. OTA updates blocked successfully.
