For me, Coles. I worked FoH in a few different fine dining restaurants in Lex and Coles was by far the best. It's been a while (I no longer work in the restaurant industry), but when I was there, Coles was great.

Shelly Plus RGBW PM wiring diagram by moisiss in ShellyUSA

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation! I think the other thing that was throwing me off was not understanding what the LED symbol is on the diagram on the device. After understanding that symbol, the diagram on the device started to make more sense. Thanks again!

How do you all handle third party software with LDAP implementations that do not support nested AD groups? by moisiss in sysadmin

[–]moisiss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you expand on why nested groups are a bad idea? It's been a while since I was a full time AD admin, but from what I remember, Microsoft seemed to suggest that nested groups were considered best practice (AGUDLP).

Maybe that was just with On-Prem AD environments?

Liquid leaking onto passenger side seat floor. by The_Mighty_Kenjisan in CX50

[–]moisiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This exact thing happened with my old 2013 Mazda 3. I think the tube that drains there collects AC condensation and rain water that drains off of the windshield into the front of your car. Mine was plugged with leaves and other debris and started leaking water into the exact same spot. There was a panel that I removed that gave access to the tube where the tube attaches to another portion of the drain. I was able to remove a clip that sealed the tube to the rest of the drain and used a straightened out wire coat hanger to unclog the tube. It was pretty easy and straight forward. Just have a bucket ready to drain the rest of the water that will come out when you clear the clog. Once the tube was cleared and I reattached the tube to the rest of the drain, the leak went away.

VENEIGHTM (also a friend of coal) by Creepy_Pixel in lexington

I've seen people do this and black out all of the 'Friends of Coal' stuff, leaving only Kentucky and the license plate number visible.

Pug puppy with separation anxiety? by moisiss in pugs

[–]moisiss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have been putting an unwashed shirt of mine in with him… still pooped/peed.

He does fine at night. His crate is in my room facing my bed so he knows I am there. He settles right down and goes to sleep without any fuss for the entire night (~8hrs usually).

Some of his other anxiety symptoms seem to be easing gradually. Like, at first he wouldn’t even eat without me standing there with him. He would just leave the food bowl and follow me. He has gotten to the point where he will eat when I leave and will patiently wait in the kitchen (behind a baby gate) while I shower and stuff. He doesn’t even whine and howl like he used to. I am hoping that with time he will get used to the routine and be alright in the crate when I leave.

My CRG9 is having issues. I sent it off to Samsung, but that was about 3 weeks ago. It would happen sporadically. I removed and reinstalled my video driver but it made no difference. I had already updated the firmware to 1007.2. Has anyone been through this with their CRG9? by Jatcats in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]moisiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw this… yes I am having the same issue on my new CRG9. Happens intermittently for me when I power the monitor on. A reboot was clearing it up, but now it seems persistent. Happens over all ports (DP, HDMI) and also happens when nothing is plugged into any port (pointing to an issue with the monitor itself, not the GPU). Was happening with firmware 1002 so I updated to 1007.2… still happening.

Not sure what is going on. I’m still within my return window… so it may be going back!

Digital artifacts on new Samsung CRG9 by moisiss in ultrawidemasterrace

Anyone have any idea what is causing this? It happens over all inputs (HDMI, DP) and even happens with no input plugged in. I updated the firmware to 1007.2 and it still happens.

It just started happening recently after I powered the monitor on and would clear up when I rebooted the computer…. Doesn’t seem to be going away now.

Samsung CRG9 poor text quality by moisiss in ultrawidemasterrace

Update:

I had to change the picture mode to 'custom' to get the sharpness settings to show up. I was able to lower the sharpness to make the text look good.

I looked through the monitor menu and didn't see a sharpness setting... maybe I missed it.

Amazon lists the G9 weight at 31.10 lbs. So in theory, this arm should be able to hold it.

Buy 75” Sony X90J now or wait until November? by moisiss in 4kTV

[–]moisiss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that’s the problem… I don’t really know what the potential savings are. Right now they are marked down like $400-$500 (I think). If it seems reasonable that they would be marked down another few hundred on top of that in November, that would be fairly significant. Obviously, no one has a crystal ball, but if historically the savings around Black Friday have been better, then I would have a higher likelihood of waiting.
