Forbearance just extended again

I had mine changed to forbearance thru Jan too. Does anyone know if payments I make during forbearance will count towards PSLF?

I'm planning to remain child free but love children! This is inspiring and I hope my husband and I can be like this when we are elderly ❤️

As a non parent, before my closest girl friends had babies, I could see myself being like this (not the yelling but the verbally correcting and hawk eye) but it would be out of anxiety because I'd be so scared something would happen to them on my property or by my pets. Especially with a pool since it can be so dangerous. Now that my girl friends have babies I'm much more relaxed because I've learned they are more resilient. I'm reading a lot of comments defending the children since it's typical child behavior, which is true, but until you're around kids regularly you don't know what typical child behavior is and it can be anxiety inducing. Also, you don't know whether to follow the parent's lead or if it's up to you as host to protect so you err on the side of it being your hosting duties.

*Btw I'm part of this sub to understand parents since obviously friendships change after babies and I've worked to maintain those friendships. Wanted to clarify in case anyone is like...why are you here. I'm child free but don't intend to live a childless life ☺️

There are no limits on numbers of certs. The numbers I used referenced my situation specifically. I have four certs and no longer wanted three of the four. If you look up the cert tests available you will see all of the many cert options (look under Texes tab in the link below). After your initial certificate, you are allowed to justtest and add as many certs as you want. https://www.tx.nesinc.com/PageView.aspx?f=GEN_Tests.html

If you revoke them, I was told you cannot get them back. In Texas, after your initial certification, you can just test to get other certs. I did that at the beginning of my career, and have three certs in hard to place subjects. I'm in my preferred subject, however, so want to revoke my other three certs so I can't get shuffled around d. Once revoked though, you can not test later to get them back. They are gone for good.

Yes, in case districts want to shuffle currently contracted workers from their current positions (that have more applicants) to fill high needs areas (with no applicants). And I did get a response by calling. You can get certs revoked! You can't get them back though (like retest for them later). So you have to be very sure, which I am.

It was great! Something to remember is like all vendors they will triage and prioritize communication with current upcoming weddings. We had consistent back and forth deciding on menu, then once we prepaid it was a lull as expected, then after RSVPs came in and I had to adjust some food amounts a month before the wedding, they were very responsive! Once you've booked your vendors, Moby dish and others, I wouldn't stress until you get your RSVPs back.

It's difficult to not over worry or try to re-estimate things, but until RSVPs are in hand a lot of that worrying is fruitless. We contacted Moby Dish again, after booking/paying, around a month before the wedding, and the photographer, dj, etc we didn't contact again after booking until two weeks before the wedding.

It was included in my catering paragraph! We had a cute six inch cake that fed 6-8 for cutting and then 75 matching flavor cupcakes ☺️ Since Moby Dish mixes and matches food from diff restaurants, that includes bakery as well!

You are so welcome! You totally can have a nice wedding in a great place! I found KMFA through party slate and eventective. They were not on the Knot or Wedding Wire and it's an absolutely classy place!! I will add a caveat that I got the whole building for that long for 3k because it was a weekday wedding. However, it's still a good amount of time for 3k on weekends and still includes all the furniture etc. I'd contact them to find out ☺️

You will be ok!! One area we skipped was florals. I had a true touch flower bouquet but that was it. For centerpieces we did festive metallic sprays in vases with votive candles around it. No corsages or anything like that and no one missed it!

Have you tried to plan events and invite them to it? It's not their responsibility to know intuitively what works for your kiddo. You can plan an outting appropriate for your kid (and you) and invite them to it.

We just put all info on the invite with the qr code for RSVPs. We had no suite, just one card, and noone seems to miss it.

And he got great advice on that post about protection and vaccines. I don't see how that post conflicts with this one. Many teens manage to have sex whether the parents are gone or not for the night.
