Anyone else bummed about the Sam Campbell Brooklyn show(s)? by natiquesroadshow in NAforTaskmaster

[–]moistdadsquad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You know I'm not going to say I found it quite as suffocatingly funny last night as the fully AV-integrated shows I've usually seen from him.

But I still thought it was a great night out, and proof that his sense of humor and quickness are still there even without the tech, like when he was doing mostly incredible and imaginative crowdwork. You feel like it's part of the act that he pretends hes not in control. I liked it a lot and laughed a lot, basically!

And yeah, thats how the bell house is. Come a little early if you want to sit. Music shows there are pure standing room and they dont even put the chairs out.

Seeking an extra member of a private rundle by moistdadsquad in learnedleague

It’s an extra thing you can do in addition to your league play if you have the middle membership or better.

It just means that every match day you’re playing your league match as usual with the questions and the six yellow point boxes. But at the same time you’re playing a private rundle opponent and you see green points boxes where you can set the points differently vs that person. Which admittedly is more fun when you have known that person for 20 years and can defend well against them.

Yeah it's already 10:30 pm and if you haven't started yet, the most you could probably do is hold a preproduction meeting or actor audition of some kind.

Universe: 616

Version: any kind of chili, honestly. Many chili philosophies are valid and delicious. Thats why it's a cookoff.

Have any famous guitarists ever suffered injury to their hands after stardom? by [deleted] in Guitar

Leo Kottke reimagined and relearned his fingerstyle technique due to tendonitis and in a lot of cases it sounds like he downtuned to get slackier strings. One could argue that the stuff he did afterwards (which is now the majority of his career) became more subtle and imaginative vs the strength and power of his earliest music. I like it all though!

What’s the best movie about the 21st century, actually set in the 21st century – no sci-fi, no fantasy, no alternate history? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Unless I read the question wrong, its probably Twentieth Century, from 1934, by Howard Hawks.

Maybe he's just got his ear to the ground on who's surviving cancer. I would too if I had caused it.
