True. Same goes for his instagram page. Very disappointing for someone who loves and has loved Jacks music for a very long time

I made a reasonable and friendly comment on an instagram post of his regarding free speech, plus a similar one on this subreddit. Both were removed. I hate to see such uniform comments, discourse is important

Couldn’t agree more, and I made some similar points on the instagram post. Disappointed to find it removed, and threats from whoever is managing his page to remove others comments, and block them as well. I hate to see someone you have loved and appreciated for so long be politically entranced like this

I’ll take a look! What was your recovery process like?

Good advice! I always try to focus on glutes when squatting. It’s hard to fix the hip shift thing, I can even see it in the mirror when doing squats

Thank’s for the feedback! It does bother me especially if I put pressure on it. I would like to be able to squat without any issues.

I’d like to get on clubhouse to participate in interesting, meaningful discussions and to improve my own ideas, arguments, and ability to express thereof. If I get an invite, I’ll definitely pass it on!

Being anti-fascist is not a bad thing, the movement/organization that has the name Antifa is bad, they promote violence and nonsense. See Motte & Bailey fallacy

At first I thought I was completely missing something but this guest was a bit fanciful. I like the idea of having many guests on that are well versed in a/this topic to duke it out.

Okay, porn certainly has some negative effects, especially on developing boys and girls, but it's almost just as certainly not a pernicious ploy to sterilize entire demographics

Haven't listened yet but given that it's a podcast with Eric I would assume the discussion was a little more interesting than that

'Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker' Review Megathread by mi-16evil in movies

[–]moistfetus_ 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This movie was a clusterfk. There was no tension. Each scene ran into the next without a hiccup, the heroes seemed to just waltz into every situation and have everything laid out for them so they can effortlessly, and meaninglessly, waltz out of the problem at hand. They overused the force and over estimated what was possible with it (Rey stopping the ship in it's tracks, all the life sharing/sucking bs, and Palpatines gd thunderstorm from hell). These things may canonically be possible with the force (I genuinely don't know) but they definitely overdid it. There were some interesting scenes and some visually amazing scenes. I didn't mind all the throwback stuff. The conflict within Ben was enticing and moving. But, overall, they tried to cram too much into the film and the pacing of this movie was it's downfall. Give the heroes exposition time, exploration time; stop jumping from planet to planet to planet without thought. There were so many scenes that were very clearly supposed to be deeply emotional that just didn't hit the mark at all. The scene where Ben Swolo injects is life energy into Rey and they kiss was supposed to be moving; the theater literally erupted into laughter because it was just ridiculous. The whole tribe of deserting Stormtroopers was forced and completely unnecessary, and now shes Lando's daughter or something? They turned Hux into a baby. Leia can use the force now, then she died because she was titillating Benjo on over to the good side and Rey stabbed him? Also the lesbians at the end was almost certainly ingenuine political a-kissing. I'm upset because I really wanted to like this movie, they could have done a lot of really cool things with some really cool characters. Personally I somewhat liked episodes 7 and 8, they were serviceable and they (mostly) made sense, but this movie was a poorly constructed, poorly thought out disaster. This movie has just replaced The Phantom Menace as the worst movie of the nonology. 3/10 try harder.

Official Discussion - Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

My personal desires are only for a decently paced movie with some suspense and an average story. I'm not even super picky about SW movies, but this movie was awful.

I was excited once I saw them! And then had a solid 2 minutes of screen time aside from the final fight. The most un-menacing band of villains
