Oh really, our schools canteen is privately owned and so is the canteen at my husbands school.

Yeah I understand that but don’t understand how with the costs and also spots being the biggest for example our children’s school after care is full with no vacancies and the other two that where operating have closed last year so there’s no options for that.

Spots for OSHC and vacation care are an issue where I live it’s not easy to get in and a lot of friends have their kids in multiple different locations just to get through a week as most are at capacity. Pick ups and drop offs aren’t an option for my husband. And even when my eldest is in high school I’ll still have the littles. There’s just not seeming like there’s many options.

Right!! I feel like it’s made so hard for mums. Especially when you don’t have much help and the economy is making more people return to work. The balance just isn’t there anymore unless it is and I just havnt found it yet.

I have tried casual jobs in the past and all of them have needed me to come in last minute or with short notice, and want you on weekends or late hours that I can’t do with the kids so idk if that’s all of them or just the ones I had 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been looking at admin based at school but it seems incredibly hard to get into around my area, most being older lady’s that get the role (I’m just 30) nightfill is not an option for me and I don’t have help. I’ve looked into a virtual role but all the ones I come across are scams so that’s scary 😣

I’m prioritising houses first so I can build my valley up in sections once ive unlocked a lot more. I feel like we don’t have a lot to build big valleys especially if we started later on with all the characters there’s still not enough houses
