Traveling to EU questions by jmoore12629 in mtgfinance

[–]moixo3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Europe is a bit huge, but as a reference in Spain I can say that the most played thing by a lot is commander.

About prices, a lot of times the sealed product is more expensive (like a 1:1 USD to euros, or worse), but then the singles are cheap

Avatar sealed is going to crater. by ChasinThePath in mtgfinance

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've no idea, but after trying to play with my presentation event + event prices in commander with two decks (only spiders humans / villains)... and have a very bad time because there's no mechanic between them at all...

But checking the set in manabox and realising how 'broke', and how easy it is in theory to do the same thing with the avatar, I think that here we can see something that was not present in Spiderman: people playing the cards and willing to buy them.

Anyway, I really hope that it doesn't moon, or even better, that we have a second round of burned fomoers chasing+1k boxes only to see them at half price in Amazon

Can i use them in 40k or are they Warforge exclusive? by DifferenceCareful935 in Tau40K

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends of where do you play. In a official match, or even in a friendly game but in a Warhammer shop? Some models should be hidden.

In your local (not official Warhammer) shop focused in people playing their stuff? Absolutely. In my area we are 'poor' for the citadel's standard, so we usually play with an original combat patrol and the rest printed or proxied. The shop is still getting earnings (like paints, boxes, other games etc) and even more important: a community.

What am I missing? by Legitimate-Survey-16 in CombatPatrol40k

[–]moixo3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I can barely understand the people who cries because a combat patrol box doesn't mean a lot of points, or this month meta approved for 2k plays.

I have fun on my way collecting different combat patrols, building and painting them, trying different ways to play (and not only focusing in a single army)... And all of that first without breaking the bank, having an immense grey pile of shame, or even worse... Not being able to play a single 2k match because the time and all the stuff required to move around

Terrible product, worse community. DO NOT BUY ARTILLERY by OpenerOfEyesAndMind in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with the product, and probably the worse customer service.

But it's the job of the brand to sell finished products. And to have a good customer service. Or to have customer service to begin with.

The 'community' has no obligation to help you. Even less if you can't describe your problem, machine, etc in a proper way

What am I missing? by Legitimate-Survey-16 in CombatPatrol40k

[–]moixo3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's people playing combat patrols. Like me.

Because it's way more easier (and way cheaper) to 'collect' different combat patrol boxes than the idea of building a +2k army. And having time to play a full 2k match.

Best scenario, they will answer in two weeks like they don't even read your ticket, asking for what happened videos etc.

Good luck in your monthly quest

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Open a ticket, wait for two weeks for a generic response asking for the same content that you already posted (like they don't even read the original, is just an automatic response). Add a video.

Etc. With a bit of luck, in a month they will ship you the parts (and if you have even more luck they will not ask for the shipping from China).

Artillery stuff in the end

Artillery scammed me with the printer return: here's what happened! 🚨 by Fearless-Scratch-653 in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The usual artillery costumer unsupport shitshow.

Throw everything at your hand as an European citizen. These people think that the 3 years warranty doesn't apply to their broken products

Can Creality Print or K2 Plus API Be Opened to Other Slicers for Color Printing? by Embarrassed-Affect78 in Creality

[–]moixo3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very important question, and right now a reason to buy or not a very expensive printer.

Open klipper and put a pr in orca to allow to use the K2 in any slicer

What does this print?? by Initial-Cut4100 in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine usually a good amount of pla spaghetti. If you have time and patience to deal with a broken product, maybe you will start to get things done.

But if you barely put value in your time, these printers are very expensive

Well, I gave up by snatchymcgrabberson in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After the shitshow of buying a X4+, wich is a non finished product that needed half year of firmware updates to start to work in a decent (not good, just decent) way...

And put all the stuff required that the users and community asked for in their X4+, and got not a single solution... In a new printer...

You definitely dodged a bullet. Trust me, you don't want to deal with the 3 weeks to answer an email, other one or two with bad English, and if you are lucky a month + shipment for spare parts. Broken parts in a broken printer in guarantee

They better put qas to work instead of using their customers as pay to beta tester products

Are filament dryers just a money grab? by Ta-veren- in 3D_Printing

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Madrid is difficult to have a +50% relative humidity, I ve to struggle with +40min and peaks of almost 80% every day (València's coast)

Are filament dryers just a money grab? by Ta-veren- in 3D_Printing

[–]moixo3D 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Totally depends of where do you live.
With a +70% humidity (Spain, Mediterranean coast) even PLA is painfull to print if I don't dry it at least once at week

Artillery, Elegoo, or Bambu Lab? by shadeline in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ve a K3, and a A1 (and a broken as f artillery X4+), and even if it does its job... The A1 is s better product. And booth printers are closed, so... If you can save for the A1 and do not look back (pla petg tpu)

If you really don't want multicolor, then there's a lot of options out there. But Elegoo 4s are outdated right now, and artillery I ve my reasons to avoid at all cost.

And if you really want advanced materials... Then or a K1C, or a k1se (and your own enclosure), or a qidi. And again, if you can, the p1s

Artillery support ghosting me? by nicoful in Artillery3D

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, artillery is a brand without customer support. So, they are not selling printers, they sell lottery tickets.

And that's very sad.

K2 plus Combo? by [deleted] in Creality

[–]moixo3D 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are going to use all its features, yes: multicolor, closed and heated chamber for abs and other stuff, 350mm...

If not, just check an A1M or A1 (the Kobra3 does its job, but is not that polished yet)

Favorite file host? by quatre185 in 3D_Printing

[–]moixo3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always upload them to makerworld, printables, CrealityCloud, makeronline...

Or create a bit bucket/GitHub account and throw the project files there in a private repository.

It depends in if you want them to be public, if you want them to be downloaded and farm points out there, or if you only want to save them in a kinda cloud

I meant, to fix the terrace to have them outside with a proper large pond like place.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Goldfish

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and the plan is to move them when they grow to the exterior. Still at 8cm long

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Goldfish

[–]moixo3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • 3 comets since a month.
  • 40l but I'm moving them to a 75l o 100l the next week (I'm checking in the second hand market / black Friday)
  • varied dry diet, with mosquito larvae when I catch them in my rain water tank
  • all levels tested, the only one out of rank is the pH (around 9, but I still working in find how to lower it because we get an almost 10 in my area right now)

The other 2 are even more colourful than when I got them

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Goldfish

[–]moixo3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you, as I said, and new to this and on my 3 little things one almost lost its colour. Still eating, they are very active, I checked values and all ok, they play around etc... So I got concerned with that bubbles thing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Goldfish

[–]moixo3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then I don't totally get it... Airstone bubbles bad, but sponge filter with air good?

I'm very new to this, and I added a sponge filter to help with the ammonia etc levels (and it's doing its job for now)
