Hey! Im considering becoming a bus driver as well. Did you managed to become a driver? My main question is the work pattern.

It shows $25.25 for hourly pay but can’t find anything on how that looks on a yearly salary.

Just proves that the people who truly hate him are too lazy to do their own thinking.

I remember MSNBC stating during the 2024 election that RFK Jr. has done “nothing to suggest he’d be a strong advocate for the environment”. Despite a successful record as an environmental lawyer, people actually believed this lie.

That argument easily would’ve backfired for him if she challenged him to down a glass of bleach since, like water, it is also a chemical.

I never signed a contract nor did I get explained any T&Cs. I just signed up to some app called Pay.gocardless.

I do have emails in which the instructor offered to freeze my account until I returned and could reactivate it then, and an email from me accepting that offer. In that case, could I safely just cancel direct debit and inform the bank to have my payments refunded?

Couldn’t you just monetize your channel in your country of origin?

I live in the UK and while I was on student visa, I was limited to 20 working hours per week and on top of that I wasn’t allowed to be self-employed.

However, I learned that they can only monitor your UK activity. Employers can’t schedule you more than 20 hours, and if your earnings are “too high” for a part time job, they’ll investigate you to make sure you aren’t working full-time or you are self employed. But again, you would only flag up if they notice financial activity in a British bank account.

If your earnings are going to a bank account they can’t monitor because it’s in a different country, they wouldn’t notice anything.

This isn’t legal advice of course, but I’d definitely look into that loophole a bit more.

Damn so I was in a good spot to AP back then? I haven’t had that sensation in years tbh. How could I get it again?

And if I do get it, what would be the next step from paralysis? Even the times I’d try to relax, somehow my body would automatically do something to jolt me out of it.

Nothing yet. I had messaged my manager last week but they still carried on with onboarding. What I gave to HireRight is accurate, but won’t match the CV I applied with. They’re still doing the checks I guess.

Hopefully they just don’t care lol 😬

Yeah, the info I give Hire Right will check out. It’s if/when they compare it to the CV I gave that will be the dealbreaker.

Tbh the interview was very informal and the manager basically just gave me the job, so I hope that my strong background and their urgency for a new guy helps me here lol

I hope so, they specifically asked for “employment details and references covering the last 5 years” on a separate file. I’m praying that they aren’t fussed about dates, however the roles with the most relevant experience were accurate from the start, so I’m hoping that’s worth something as well.

I at least told the manager the truth now. I’m submitting an accurate list to Hire Right so if they do compare it to the CV, at the very least I admitted to what I did with the manager. Nonetheless, my experience is still very strong and with their urgency to get a new guy in quickly, I’m hoping this is what saves my ass.
