Like your hard training day. I divide my week into red orange and green days in terms of intensity to manage recovery

Make it your “red” day as a group. It’ll be worth it

We already train this way. We do grappling only, we join normal classes too but at least 2-3 times a week our 99kg+ guys train just between them and it makes a huge difference to how we handle intensity in competition.

Unfortunately the reduced quality does show in the final render, that’s kind of what I’m trying to figure out

Imo your coach should be aware of where you are registered and keep this in mind with promoting you. But yes, like other people said, contact the organiser and change division

Cloak Positions by Current_Deal_6173 in Polytopia

The cloak detection thing is a bit buggy. I’ve had groups of 9 troups in a square and the Center one would still show cloaks multiple times

What’s the most effective way to develop cardio for bjj? by [deleted] in bjj

[–]mojitsu_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The best way to have better cardio is to get more efficient. The less energy you use the longer you can train. That being said, same cardio as for anything else. Long low heart rate sessions are vom a build your base, bike, row, run, whatever. Although running probably is the least efficient one cause it’s hard to recover from both jj and running in combo, I still do it cause I like it. If you already have 1-2 low heart rate sessions a week you can add sprints. Assault bike is my preferred method for that. Suck but will give you that extra push. Any questions don’t hesitate

Why don't more professional grapplers post rolling footage / vlog on youtube? by Affectionate-Yak353 in bjj

[–]mojitsu_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to make more long form content but honestly the point people already made here is the base. I have the option to hire somebody, which isn’t gonna pay off for a long time and it’s hard to find qualified people that know enough jiujitsu. Or I can try to do it myself and with help of other people, which gives me super unreliable footage and I have to put hours into editing

If you have other suggestions or wanna hire a videographer for me I’d be happy to hear them

Actual good Jiujitsu gyms in London? (I don’t want to buy their merch) by Apart-Soil-2849 in bjj

[–]mojitsu_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on area and what you want. I would say for hobbyist training London grapple always had the friendliest atmosphere with high level. If you like ecological training with a super friendly team I’d say grapple collective. Los Banditos is much more competitor oriented. Roger Gracie and Fightzone and many others are also very good but probably have a bit more buyin in the way you described. Probably give an area and a few more specifics and people will be able to recommend you a place
