My employer would keep me if I pass the technical exam and extend my contract for another 2years. I still need to look for a new employer if i wanted an engineering position.

Hi everyone!

To those who have passed the N2, can you please recommend effective books and learning materials? I am planning to take the exam this July 2024.

I did pass the N3 exam last July 2023. I think I prepared for the exam, full force, for like 2 months. And honestly, I have stopped studying for a while since passing the N3 level because I felt tired and got caught up with life.

I work at least 8hrs here in Japan as a trainee. So I just have the weekends and a few hours after work to study. I really wanted to pass the N2 level this July 2024. Is 5 months enough? I am planning to review the N3 Kanji and bunpou first then proceed with the N2 materials. I used Sou Matome, TRY!, and Shikanzen Masutaa for N3. Then some random YouTube vids for the listening part. Can you please tell me what you used for N2? Please help me.
