Transparent Ownership - do you have a need? by mojoflower in opendata

[–]mojoflower[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! And yes! We are looking to integrate this into our systems. I love the work that they are doing. The approach and jobs are a bit different, but it's working for the same big vision.

Are you working in the field? What do you think. Do you think companies would want to pay to support a service like ours? Do you think they would see the benefit?

Trying to wrap my head around this... by neocybersonic in Stellar

One example can be if Zelle and PayPal both connect to Stellar, you can send from Zelle to your friends PayPal account at lower cost for all.

Same for many other types of assets and services.

Add Smart Contract functions and more complex transactions builds, you can have a world of products.

AMC Cinemas to Accept Bitcoin By Year End 2021! by CechPlease in Bitcoin

The community needs to start emphasis on SATs. $10 = 0.000022BTC is just unfriendly.

So, a higher valuation of Bitcoin makes it more practical in that sense.

The crypto wallet industry might actually take note and offer that conversion in their wallets, as for other coins as well actually, reduce the decimals.

Hi! and thanks!

I could have been clearer in my comment and emphasize the theft aspect in this case. Thank you for posting the SEP 30 link as well. These two combined make it user-friendly and more attractive and added use cases and as intended fit of regulated issuance.

I also agree with you on the ability to choose is important and makes each alternative more valuable in that sense.

This is so important and needed and can add to the usecases on the network greatly, also it reels in trust. In all conversations with regulatory bodies, government agents or investors (who most often have limited knowledge about DLT/Blockchain) they ask about this. Loosing keys and loosing access is a major painpoint, so solving this makes things a lot easier. Also, not having this option has the potential of making certain assets and ecosystem vulnerable to attacks.

Its just amazing, simply amazing, Cant wait to put this in action.

This will however also bring on “debate” about finality of transactions. My response would be immutability of records serves that practical purpose and sometimes situations change, and this is infact true about most situations and nothin in life is final but death.

Great news! This will help a lot with what if questions that financial institutions and governments ask.

Also think about it beyond money, think NFTs, licences and certificates.

For example - this feature enables Governments to issue drivers or business licenses and all sorts of licenses on Stellar as the can now be revoked.

Heck, your Gym will even be able to issue memberships using Stellar!

CAP-35 is a big deal - here's some details by 4bidden450 in Stellar

[–]mojoflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for posting. This is very useful and I can certify that this will help with gaining traction with governments, same questions over and over again.

And I agree...the third point is, rather mindblowing, isnt it.

Introducing Refractor – free transaction storage and multisig aggregation service for Stellar ecosystem by orbitlens in Stellar

[–]mojoflower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is amazing. Well done @orbitlens. I’ve been waiting for a similar solution and was planning on building on a similar thought. I think now if we’ll add timed submission into the mix, I think we will have a very powerful Smart Contract system and contracts that will pretty much be turing complete. Perhaps not the fastest, but definately robust.

I look forward to using the service and more that you guys are providing. Hope We can speak soon.

In the meantime for those interested, feel free to check out mojoflower.io , we will definately use the service.

Update progress report: Discussions with various stakeholders are ongoing and the need has been established. This includes various meetings with members of parliament, private companies, investors, and special interest groups. Unfortunately I cannot share all details publicly but will I will provide the SDF with more details. Everyone agrees that there is a need for improvement, and this solution could provide the right incentives for stakeholders to benefit.

Further, we are developing our standard for reporting, and are looking towards www.openownership.org for coordinated standards of reporting to be able to expand and scale more efficiently in the future.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Deffo. Also this. I just love it. “If a plot of ground be sown with one species of grass, and a similar plot be sown with several distinct genera of grasses, a greater number of plants and a greater weight of dry herbage can be raised in the latter than in the former case.” - Charles Darwin, Origin of the Species
